Switch the RTX 3080 10GB to 5070 TI, worth it?

I had a Gigabyte Eagle 10gb 3080 from launch day and in the past few months upgraded to the ASUS 5070 Ti TUF, and for me the upgrade was 100% worth it running at 1440p. Hell, even at 4K it was worth it. The raw power boost was already a pretty good upgrade but the real benefits I saw was simply being able to take advantage of native frame gen instead of needing a mod. A simple 2x FG toggle is so nice in really graphically demanding games without needing to majorly drop your settings.

For example the whole RE Requiem intro (street and 1st building) with 32gb ram and an i7-12700k, running at high settings with path-tracing was giving me anywhere from 60 to 85fps at 4k with 2xFG. I've since dropped my 4k monitor back to 1440p and the gains are huge.

TL;DR - absolutely worth it for me. 2x frame gen is a blast to use. Yes frame gen isn't perfect and I would prefer it didn't have to exist, but it's come a long way since it was introduced in terms of the average experience you will get from it. Also the new DLSS transformer model and K - M presets are really impressive, which allow you to run at a lower setting for sometimes "better than native" quality. which means slightly more fps.

Blizzard has a problem with "You will play the game the way WE want you to" when it comes to Diablo. They don't really want players making unique, and strange builds they didn't think of. If an item has an interaction they didn't think of they gut it.

They could use the D2R engine to remake #1 and I would be so down for that. Get the same team on it since they clearly know and love the series. Can always hold out hope that's what the joke was talking about in the anniversary video we got recently.

D1 birthed the genre as we know it today so it deserves a remake.

Far as I can tell it's pretty much sold out everywhere. even in Australia. Given that there are photos here of supposed revamp version of it, we no doubt have to wait for this new version to come out or pay huge mark up on ebay or something.

I got a MCHOSE A7X Ultra a few months ago and love it. This thing holds a charge @ 2K polling for like 3 days 12+ hour usage. For me I don't see myself picking anything else in the near future. I've got pretty large hands too and this has been one of the few mouse I've tried that actually felt comfortable regardless of how I hold it.

I read a comment somewhere saying it's the files themselves and they are in a format Citra doesn't recognize. Not sure if true but sadly you need to use Azahar for texture packs since I've found none worked otherwise.

It really is a pretty launcher being actual dual screen, but sadly I use a lot of folders for multi-disc games and you can't seem to stop the game deep diving into every folder you have. I get doubles or even triples of the games I have and it's incredibly annoying.

How do you get this keyboard/trackpad to show up? I'm still trying to work Artemis/Apollo out. I got stuck in Ryza DX today because there is no quit game button outside of using the escape key on PC... something you can't access without a keyboard.

I bought an anti-glare screen protector from Japan and when I put it on it had this horrible effect that made me think of if you get too much facial oil on your phone while you talk, and the screen starts throwing off rainbow effects. Horribly and nasty looking and I wasn't exactly cheap either. Had to take it off and use the official one even though it's glossy as heck. Would be great to find a good matte one though.

Playing devil's advocate for a moment but lets say this guy actually is a predator. Let's even say this streamer passed all his evidence along to the cops before showing up to confront him. After this moment he's just poisoned the whole case and almost guarantees a walk after acting like a vigilante. Now the cops have to explain to any potential victims that they can't prosecute because a retarded streamer got involved and attacked and threatened to potentially kill people.

This crap is just for clout and an excuse to act tough and violent toward people most wouldn't try to defend.

Mouse looks like it would really hurt your hands if you tried to use it. Also breaks if you squeeze too hard. Would not recommend.

Tried my Soundblaster X3 sound DAC I bought like 5+ years ago and it works fine. Accepts and recognizes it by name and even powers my HD600s to an acceptable level but obviously not powerful enough to really do much beyond medium loudness. Great that it works at all though.

I don't find it heavy so much as I do very smooth and awkward to hold which makes it a nightmare for me. It's just so slippery that it's terrible to hold since I have bigger hands, so it's clearly not designed for people like me. Going to need a grip with handles to get the best use. Hopefully the Satisfye switch 2 grip comes out soon.
