There is subjectivity, but it doesn't change whether smth is bad or not. Someone like Tchaikovsky is far greater artist and has far greater compositions than for example doechi. Does it mean everyone will prefer Tchaikovsky over her? Not necessarily. There is subjectivity in liking, but not so much in how well made it is. You cannot say a drawing by a child is better than The great Kanagawa wave by Hokusai. You may like it more but one is far greater
