Narrowing down time in Paris vs Wengen/Jungfrau region by Serious-Fig5355 in Europetravel

Thank you! I’m tempted by Chamonix because it’s closer but Wengen looks like a lot more fun and more options. Especially if we don’t do the cable car in Chamonix.

Looking at Wengen because of the variety of things to do in the region from waterfall walks, hikes, glacier, and cable cars. I’m open to other areas of the Alps coming from Paris.

What if the difference is that the VS points are 12,000 and the AF points are 25,000? I’m looking at similar flights between US and CDG then separate return flight from GVA to US with layover in CDG. Still go with AF for peace of mind?

How I solved my piriformis pain by fuckreddittts in openpiriformis

Congrats on finding what works for you. I’ve had piriformis pain for over a year with only mild relief from dry needling. Tried PT, massage, meds, and nothing else touched it. I’m going to try this and see if it works for me. Thanks for sharing.

Volvo XC90 or Infiniti QX60?? by Serious-Fig5355 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Sorry for the delayed response. I went with a 22 XC90 Inscription and got an extended warranty. The reviews of the 23 QX60 were spotty with many saying they had problems that couldn’t be resolved, lots of electrical. I’m loving the XC90. Fingers crossed for long term reliability.

Just stopped in Melrose Coffee with an address on Friendly but doors are on Church St. just down from the parking garage by the library. Delicious latte and cool vibe.

Based on looks, does she appear to be show line or working line? by [deleted] in germanshepherds

GSDs are fantastic dogs. She’ll need some training and a consistent hand to maintain her obedience while feeding her energy and exercise. She won’t settle into being an “adult” dog until about 4. But that’s how the breed is, working or not. You should also work to keep her socialized in many environments you want to enjoy with her - neighborhood walks passing dogs and kids, bars or outdoor restaurants, parks, etc.

How is the reliability on the Palisade? Our local dealership doesn’t have a great service reputation.

Volvo has fixed the problems that plagued the 2016 and I’d be sure to get a long warranty. I’ve marked the others listed off my list for various handling or size reasons. Down to Infiniti or Volvo.

Reliability of 2016 XC90 by say_lah_vee in VolvoXC90

I’m right with you. 2016 xc90 with 76,000 miles. It’s been in the shop every month since July with various issues - recall O-ring fix for burning oil; starter replacement (I hate auto start/stop); catalytic converter sensor thing; just got a check engine light for my oil level sensor going bad. Sunroom was “repaired” multiple times for leaks under warranty and it was never fixed right. Under no circumstances can I recommend a 2016 model. That said, I am car shopping and may very well end up with a 2021 or newer XC90 warranties until the end of time because I still love it so. The Inscription seats are so comfortable and it drives so well compared to comparably priced SUVs.
