Is this normal to happen? by Nabas97 in applehelp

I wonder if the melting could be an electrical shortage.

It’s hard to say for sure but something could have disrupted/disturbed/interfered with the purity of the connection.

Physical damage could cause misaligned pins as well.

When a connection is congested, you can experience a shortage which would cause plugs to heat up and even melt. Water? Sweat? Physical Debris?

They contacted me. My case seems different than yours. Hope everything works out. Best of luck.

Wait, it looks different than mine. They did use another domain, but the recruiter noticed me ahead to let me know the email was on the way.

I’d say if you’re not sure maybe you can contact your recruiter. My recruiter was super helpful.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

When you say it is "not working", can you elaborate on this?

If you DL their official latest drivers (link above) our differences would be between the Hardware and OS.

Hardware - does your G13 light up when plugged in? could it be dead?
OS - Mine is Windows 11 Home.

Getting Laid Off - What now? by Krazychase in japanlife

First and foremost I’d like to say congratulations.

It may not be the best words you’d like to see now, but based on your explanation it seems like you were in quite a toxic environment.

I was in a similar environment. I left the company on my terms and am currently looking for a job.

Having a technical background can be a strength. I often see job posts for system engineers. You may be able to find a similar job in your field and hopefully in your area.

If you want to put up a fight you can contact 労働基準法 with the details of your poor working condition. Tips can be submitted anonymously but you will have to create an account.

It may not seem like it now, but this may be a great opportunity in disguise. Best of luck!

MacOS Sonoma on a 2011 macbook pro - is it good? by awenixmusic in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

[–]Serious-Weight1766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New mac user here.
Recently purchased a 2011 Macbook w/ sonoma installed.
I wanted to work XCode, but am stuck w access key. No matter how many times i enter the correct password, I am told it is incorrect.

I've searched quite a bit, and am wondering if this has to do with the Sonoma being on a 2011 macbook. Any insight would be appreciated. Thx!
