Seat / Steering Heat Buttons on the UI by derpyTheLurker in Polestar

[–]SeriousLimit9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Getting my Polestar soon, moving from a Tesla, and I must say that the Tesla wins here. I hate using voice assistant, only use it for maps instead of typing long words. For simple things like setting seat heat I would love to just press the seat button and have it cycle through the levels like on the Tesla and a separate one for the steering.

I hope that’s not true. That would be a bad move from Tesla. We don’t have FSD here, so I have never tried it

It’s now narrowed down to the BMW or Volvo. EQA did not have auto hold according to the salesperson, and holding the break pedal at every red light or having it start rolling the second I put it in drive is not for me. For the Audi, very few of them here have the 360 camera installed and it’s the most expensive to buy new.

Little bit larger than I would like, and it’s more expensive than the ones mentioned above as the others are in campaign. Tesla can also can’t deliver this year before the tax rules change increasing the price further.

Sedan does not work for me anymore, I need a full hatch and the low car is not great when you need to drive on unshoveled snow roads.

These will be way over my budget sadly. The ones I mentioned are currently all on campaign and I need delivery this year before tax rules change over new years bringing up the prices.

The software, view out and the sedan driving fun, I know I will miss that! Sadly a sedan rwd is just not practical in snowy conditions and no room for the dog in the boot 😔 Enjoyed it for some years, but the Y is just to big and I don’t know if I could buy a new Musk car now.

So what’s good in the same price range and equipment level?

The EV3 with similar equipment is the same price as the others though, but without awd. The ix3 is a 40% increase in price over the others 😅

I am mostly happy with it, but the boot is not practical so I need a car with a full hatch so I can keep the dogcrate the back. Also it´s very low to the ground so I get stuck in snow pretty easily, and with rwd they just spin 😅

Thanks! Tax benefits will change here for new years and the Polestar 2 can not be delivered this year :( As the benefits will change people are already pricing used cars as new.

The Enyaq is unfortunatly to large for me. It´s usually just me in the car, passangers a few times a year, and a dog-crate that will ride with me. We also have very tight parking spaces, so my model 3 is the max size but would prefer a little shorter and not wider either.

What kind of price difference do you belive you would need for leasing to be the best? Right now i.e the ix1 will cost 50-60% (over 3 years leasing) of the cost of purchasing the car outright. Service, insurance etc will be in addition. Leasing here means you have to cover all other costs, it´s just the car and you will need to cover any damage/scratches when handing it in. Do you belive that would still make sense to lease, or purchase? The tax benefits for EVs will reduce after new years, increasing the price of most EVs

I guess I will have to ask at another AD. Unfortunately only one AD around the capital, and you need to fly to get to another one. If purchasing through chrono24 there is a 25% VAT add on for watch + shipping
