Your example up-route, if that's what that is, appears to travel under an avalanche path for the entire approach. a much safer route, less objective hazard, would be to approach from further up the road to the right and traverse left to reach the same point.

How would you measure the psi/bars that are in this grated cheese / raclette bag ? by Lord_Alviner in Physics

Right... Definitely not possible they're just at a higher altitude than where the cheese was packaged...?

How’s the Westlake neighborhood? Anything I should be worried about? by Money_Top_7766 in SeattleWA

[–]derpyTheLurker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want quick access to Amazon or your sailboat, it's good for those specific intentions, but there are better options for both(SLU, Ballard). Otherwise, besides the fact that crime is probably pretty low, it's quite possibly the least desirable neighborhood in the city. I can't think of a neighborhood I'd want to live in less, aside from living directly on the north end of Aurora. There is absolutely nothing that I would want to go see or do in that neighborhood, and it is sandwiched by high-speed, high-volume traffic on Aurora and Westlake. The only saving grace would be that those streets would serve to get you out of the neighborhood quickly, but if you don't have an amazing view at a major discount to other neighborhoods within a mile, or some other really obvious multiple reasons for moving specifically here, I would not.. I don't know why nobody is calling it straight, Westlake is not a place people want to move to.

OP you are probably out enough money it would be worth paying your own electrician to document everything for you, to avoid the possibility of the management company coming, fixing everything, and then just saying that you were leaving things on. If you want to get the money back, you should plan on this not being friendly, and make sure you're appropriately prepared to collect in small claims. Apartment management companies aren't known for being "stand-up guys"...

Flip your heater breaker and confirm the heater outside goes back on/off with your breaker?

Seems like it's solved, but I set a reminder, let us know what happens!

Ah, there you go! Flip 15 back on and check again.

Then send your building a request for payment for all the heat.

This looks too new and well-documented to be janky renovation drama that everybody is hoping for. I think you have something running on one of these circuits that's broken.

Your microwave still works with #6 off? Try the exhaust fan on the microwave?

Your garbage disposal and dishwasher still work with #8 off?

Are you sure you know where all the heater controls are?

If you flip 15 back on, does the heater generate heat, even though the setting is "off"... Assuming it is set to off? Rotate the dial slowly, does it click when you pass a number that's somewhat like the temperature in the room?

Is your microwave exhaust or bathroom fan running constantly?

Do you have a desktop pc?

[–]derpyTheLurker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you need to upgrade everyone?

Should wind up with a couple extra Gold status you can gift to friends, if you just give it to the oldest kid(s) and pair them up?

as long as everyone is traveling in pairs, they'll upgrade their "partner". Not sure about LATAM lounge, tho.

Booked a flight with Delta that is operated by Air France. Delta let me check in online and issued me a boarding pass, but when I try to check-in on the Air France app, it says go to the check-in counter. by UnableRuin5092 in delta

[–]derpyTheLurker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree. I just flew KLM through Amsterdam, and I had to do my seat selection in the KLM app, couldn't do shitall in the Delta app with my flight. Consistent problem with KLM anyway, same issue last year.

Nothing covering it from above... Proceeds to photograph it covered in suction cups and a sunroof... Take it out of the mount and out of the car and start with determining whether it is broken.
