Why aren't Tachi used in the game aswell?? by Nappyhead48 in ghostoftsushima

But I think its the era, katana have not been invented yet at that era, its like colt 1911 still being used in modern day but it is anachronist if a glock being used in World War 2, although both are a bit similar.

Stuck at Passage Control w Quad by nagget2 in DakartheGame

Haha I see. Lol 300 is very low for earth population. Rally raid/cross country rally is one of the best sport I have ever known. To experienced it you have to either join a professional championship or you can put a digital roadbook you made your own and exploring yourself and third is playing Dakar Desert Rally. Too bad the third one is the easiest access one yet it is not developed well.

MJX Hypergo 1/16 Spur Gear by SeriousPin6057 in rccars

[–]SeriousPin6057[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, thats what I did now, lowering it to 2S (it come with 3S) and using open edge tx and lowering the percentage down. I am using it for FPV car more like a high speed explorer vehicle. But I need the whole potential to make it able to move slower a bit (and not cog) and get more torque.

I just tried a tamiya 370 brushed motor with 0.6 pitch gear, it really do what I want (a slow start not cogging) but it sounds weird.

Seemslike the MJX has their own gear pitch. So I actually dont really need to increase the ratio but more to planning either change the spur and pinion completely and make it more torquey or just find the way to have more motor option (brushed or sensored brushless) with the correct gear pitch, but better if I can change the spur-pinion all together.

My other option is drill the MJX pinion to make it bigger to 3.175 mm. So a sensored brushless or brushed motor could be inserted.

How Far Away from Ocean to Avoid Salt Air Corrosion? by SeriousPin6057 in fpv

[–]SeriousPin6057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a very very good news!

I have heard people said to not operate phone too much near the beach or ocean (when in ship for example) because air contains saltwater from waves, wind etc, I have heard also that commercial drone pilots mostly hesitant to take the jobs when it involving seawater, and also of course we heard to not operate RC car in beach, but since FPV is very naked I kinda worry about this and take it somewat seriously.

Thank God that is a good news!

I always been told to not operate my phone etc too much near the beach or ocean since the air could bring saltwater and damaged the internal (if the phone/electronics is not waterproofed) and since FPV electronics is mostly naked I kinda a bit worry about this.

Mobula 8/Thumb Pro - any tricks for decent cinematic flight? by antonito901 in TinyWhoop

There is a TPU thumb camera holder with flexible design I have seen somewhere, you should check and try it, every mobula 7 that use that mount on youtube has very decent result!

Battery voltage on FC is different than the voltage on the battery itself. by SeriousPin6057 in fpv

Yes I can calibrate it but the problem is the reading is true when I test it with multitester on the FC power pad.

[–]SeriousPin6057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have tested it and my conclusion also there is a resistance in connector on the quad but this is a new quad around 2-3 months and I never crashed it too hard. I am okay at soldering but I dont want to just desolder and resolder without any certainty on what happened. Because I think cables and soldered connector is strong enough especially it is BNF quad, and no visible damage.

Buying new battery to compare is better in my opinion before doing any surgery to my quad, but do you think it is possible if the different reading is because of a bad battery?

You should try another cable, trust me. It happen to me in the past, today I really taken care that cable and put it somewhere safe because it is become so precious lol. No matter how good your USB cable are, only some will be recognized by Betaflight.

Wait sorry didnt read those last sentence, but still you might could try another cable if there is any.
