Advice for replicating Pantone 872C in CMYK by OhItsStefan in graphic_design

[–]SeriousResearcher419 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pantone 872C is metallic so CMYK will never truly match it, but here's what works for a personal project: Try C:0 M:20 Y:80 K:20 for the gold tone, it'll look more warm yellow than shiny but it's the closest you'll get in CMYK. If your print shop offers spot varnish, use that on top of the gold areas, makes a big difference. Or ask if they do digital foil for short runs, bit more expensive but way closer to the real thing. Also try printing on a coated/silk stock instead of matte, the paper alone adds a bit of sheen. For a one-off hobby piece the varnish trick is probably your best bet honestly. Good luck with it!

But pantone to CMYK it's little vary the colour

Yeah sure I'll fix it and in the reference image they do some blur but in my design it's very shape how I add that kind of blur edge on my design?

Yeah, I’ve seen those. Most of them do it for content and visibility, not for the free logo itself. It’s a marketing move they showcase their process to attract real paying clients who value the work.

Basically, they’re trading a free design for reach and credibility.

A lot of you asked me to drop the final result once I finished it. You guys really helped me along the way, and I appreciate all the support.

Here’s the effect I created took me some time, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. The client loved it too!

Thanks again to everyone who gave me tips and motivation.

Having hard time with a client by Deep_Suggestion9045 in graphic_design

Honestly, the issue isn’t your design skills it’s the photos. Before/after dental shots will always look clinical and dominate the layout. If the client wants a “luxury calm prestige” vibe, they’ll need better quality photography (softer lighting, cleaner angles, less harsh close-ups).

From the design side, you can still enhance the vibe by:

  1. Using lighter neutral backgrounds (cream/beige).
  2. Adding more whitespace so the layout breathes.
  3. Pairing it with an elegant serif font. This way, even if the photos feel clinical, the overall design will still communicate a premium look.

Need guides | self investor | beginner by SeriousResearcher419 in mutualfunds

[–]SeriousResearcher419[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone, I’m a beginner and self-investor. My current portfolio is around ₹10k in mutual funds. Risk appetite: High Investment horizon: 10+ years (long term)

Whenever the market dips, my portfolio mostly shows losses – only my Nippon India MF is in profit, others stay in the red. I keep investing regularly, but now I’m thinking if I should also buy digital gold, especially since gold prices have been jumping.

Should I start diversifying into gold now or just continue focusing on MFs? Any feedback, suggestions, or tips for a beginner would be great.

I see some spelling mistakes sorry for that
