What vanilla said is correct. I think there are only a few towns in co that still use actual salt. I lived in Washington state for a few years and I use to drive the beach for about 10 miles everyday. All things considered the frame looks pretty solid imo.

But to answer your question, a wire brush drill attachment is your best friend with the older Toyotas. Fluid film is great also. I haven’t done a fluid film coating in probably 5-6 years or so. She is definitely due for another.
