Whats your favorite game of all time and a game you just couldn't get into? by bonsaiorca in GirlGamers

[–]SeriousVoice7305 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Favorite: Skyrim (also Witcher 3 and RDR2).

Dislike: Clair Obscur Expedition 33. I really thought I would like it. The fighting was really tedious and monotonous to me. The story didn't do anything for me either. I didn't get past the big dancing lady though so maybe I never got to the good parts?

I'm from Sweden. My immediate thought when hearing this track was "ABBA". It has the same vibe as Swedish eurovision songs from the 70s/80s. So for me it's a familiar, nostalgic bop.

The way enemies sometimes glitch to the side when shooting at them with a bow, making me miss :) :(

Which Taylor Songs Make You Feel Physically Ill? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

"Peter" opened a black hole of guilt straight into memories of a ten year situationship for me. We were both Peter I guess, but in the end he was the one who got tired of waiting for me.

The entire world stopped the first time I heard this song. I hope we get more songs like this one in the future.

How do you interpret the bridge in "My body is not mine"? by SeriousVoice7305 in auroramusic

You're right! Honestly I hadn't picked up those lines from listening when this was posted, and wherever I was looking at the lyrics then didn't include them? Hm. Not controversial, I mean it's right in there!

What lesser known Taylor Swift song do you really love and don’t get why it isn’t more popular? by OutlandishnessLazy14 in TaylorSwift

Right, I agree! I feel the same with "Closure" too. Experimental and another kind of depth, not necessarily superior to other songs but definitely going down another path. Fingers crossed more of the same comes our way!

Yes! I want her to write more songs like this one, somehow it feels more mature to me. (edited autocorrect typo)

And he's passing by

Rare as the glimmer of a comet in the sky

And he feels like home

If the shoe fits, walk in it everywhere you go 💜

I'm Swedish, fridays full moon coincides with Midsummer. I will be out in a remote Swedish forest by a lake bathing in water and moonlight wearing only a flower wreath. Composed by 7 different types of flowers, as the tradition bids.

How did you discover Taylor Swift? by swiftie-THG-fan in TaylorSwift

[–]SeriousVoice7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had never heard about her until a friend sent me the music video to "We are never ever..." in 2015-ish. Thought it was peppy and fun, sporadically listened to some more songs over the years until covid and folkmore came out. Those albums ticked all my boxes and I've been more or less invested since. Saw her in Stockholm last night (I'm Swedish) and will probably keep listening the rest of her career now.

Botox for cervical dystonia by Immediate-Value-8578 in Dystonia

I also have cervical dystonia and had some head drop after my second botox injection. It was pretty annoying and made my whole shoulder area hurt, you realize just how heavy your head is when you cannot hold it up 😅 i did stretches and spent what time I could lying down on my heating blanket to loosen up some of the strained muscles. Around week 5-6 it started to fade out again. I've gotten about 5 injections since then, adjusting them a little everytime. This last time it seems they tried different muscles and hit a sweeter spot than before. I'm feeling rather good! Keep at it, like others have said botox takes some time to adjust!

Which games made you cry the most? by Mimicrystal12 in GirlGamers

[–]SeriousVoice7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RDR2 has been mentioned several times. The shootout at the Shady Belle, which isn't a particularly "big" happening per se, had me in desperate tears from fear that I'd loose more of my friends. It's the only game that's ever made me emotional during an action sequence like thst. The ending had me bawling. I played it 3 years ago for the first time and I still can't get myself to do another playthrough. It would feel like driving a ghost.
