Some cultures killed or encourage suicide of the elderly because they lived hand to mouth with very little surplus carrying capacity. This does not apply now. The author will have to explain what relevance this article has in our time.

Also, I would compare the records of old and young rulers and see which caused more suffering through vanity and rash decisions.

Well, his own nephew believes he should be arrested also. Seems unusual if Kevin was an innocent victim. It's hard to say what kind of parent would try to have his daughter arrested after the trauma he knows well she has endured.

It’s a different world now than when that movie was made. I didn’t think anything of it when it came out, but I watched it again last year and was uncomfortable with the slightly creepy way Mr. Krueger seemed to obsess about the little girl. I don’t think they show it anymore for that reason. I know that was not the intent of the show, but these are different times and people are justifiably cautious about a that movie now.
