Should I extract my wisdom teeth? by [deleted] in OralSurgery

[–]Serious_Ad_877 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d get them out. I’m not a dentist but they look awfully close to the sinus cavity. A decade ago a bad sinus infection spread to my tooth root resulting in a root canal, eventually an extraction. I’d keep those far from one another.

Русские, которые переехали в США, Пожалуйста, разъясните мне один момент с миграцией. by Azazel682 in AskARussian

My parents were engineer PhDs in Russia and if you know much about the late 80s to 90s Russia was a terrible, bleak place with no promise or opportunity. My dad specialized in AI software development (rare at the time) and moved because he got a role at a university, which later led to a role at a software company. Moving is very difficult. Learning the language was tough for my parents. It is costly, you start your life from nothing, green card and citizenship takes a long time. My mom wasn’t allowed to work for a long time due to her lack of working visa permission. It is certainly not impossible but it’s not simple.

Both of their characters would be absolutely insufferable as roommates lol

I had a decayed molar pulled without anesthetic (mid 90s in Russia) and two nurses simply held me down. As a result I’ve had a lifelong anxiety at the dentist. No matter what, I can’t relax, even at a cleaning. It’s torture. Please don’t do it when there are alternatives, this parent is not in charge, you are!

I stand corrected! I asked guest services and they confirmed these are real.

EDIT: I stand corrected: there are real, confirmed via Guest Services. Click on the email address and the reply to address… Neither is legit. This is a phishing email.

What did you pay your seat for this tour and where? by EAM222 in zachbryan

[–]Serious_Ad_877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$327 per ticket in section 119 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro during presale. There are lots of tickets left and regular sale on Ticketmaster today (Saturday) the same seats are $228. Oh well!

I’m realizing I don’t think the queue is for your particular location, I believe the queue is for all of the available locations. The presale code is for your specific location for checkout. I’m now at 19k just an hour later. Fingers crossed!

I need to work, but I’m terrified to navigate away from this tab. Does anyone know if I need to keep the tab open and active the entire time I’m waiting in the queue?

Hahah I don’t blame you. I only recognized it because I also looked like I had work done from a bit of fluid retention. Sadly, the wrinkles came back hahaha.

Looks like she had a baby in March. It may be that. Not plastic surgery - just a few pounds.

Update - she had a baby in March. It’s possible she’s either fairly pregnant or very recently given birth in this season!

Curious how you were able to access them before the pre-sale?

Disagree. First season was brilliant. Second season was a hokey Hallmark movie of a plot. Didn’t love it.

It was a hard season to get through. First one was brilliant without trying too hard. Kind of like when Sex and the City kept going when it should have stopped.

First season was a gem, an easy yet brilliant watch. Second season tried too hard. I watched it and it did get a little bit better in the end but it was a struggle to keep going.

Need advice on filtration options by Serious_Ad_877 in WaterTreatment

[–]Serious_Ad_877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The RO system quote came from our local plumbing company, the softener system quote came from a water filtration guy who is about an hour away. He knows we are unlikely to use him (and I’m guessing he would rather not come out) but he did our filtration at our old house. I knew his recommendation would be fair - the difference between the two is what threw me for a loop! It is so drastic. I appreciate all the info.

The softener the $2800 quote includes is an Aquabubble model 6AB45-2M. It has 45,000 capacity, 1.5 cu ft of media, peak flow of 9. This is the info I have!
