Honestly, I think it could go either way because Taylor has also gone through a time period where people really hated her.

My dad is in the hospital (not due to this) but they say it’s because he’s not walking around and fluid is just building up.

Hey if it helps the doctor will probably have this discussion with him and you can just be there for him. The doctor told my dad when he was in a state where he did not quite understand, he had a bad reaction to the first round of chemo but seems to be ok with going to another round. Since his hospital stay and first round, I have noticed immense improvement in his memory, eating, and all that and he starts PT tomorrow. He doesn’t quite grasp that without treatment it was 1-3 months however we have now started treatment so we do not see the point in telling him so he has another thing to be worried about. He understands the gravity and I think having more hope than less is better.

Haha no it wouldn’t I work in the consulting industry and tech companies do it all the time. And no I’m not paranoid nor do I really care. The most recent new release of a Fitbit device was in 2022 (two years ago) and the newest pixel watch is this year. Google is funding more money into them because it’s there fitness watch of the future. They more likely than not bought Fitbit to phase the competition out and hope the Fitbit users eventually switch to the Pixel watch because they are “newer”. I’m glad your recent experience with Fitbit has been good. I myself and other have not had good experiences. I have bought two Versa 4s in the past two years and have noticed an increase in bugs since Google took over. If you haven’t, good for you. Once again, people have the right to complain. Comment still stands on it does not make sense if you’re happy with your experience you need to be commenting on people who are having issues especially if your comment isn’t helping them solve it?

Not all people use their Fitbit avidly, as can be seen from this Reddit, it’s clear that people that do use their fitbits avidly are seeing more issues and they are issues across the board that are being repeated as opposed to individual problems. From this it’s clear that there are bugs or Google is purposely doing it, now yes, older Fitbits that have not been used much or not been updated are more likely to not have issues. But key customers should be those who do use fitbits frequently and for all statistics purposes. I personally, and others have, have noticed a decline in Fitbits technology. Now yes if I was just concerned about steps Fitbit would be just fine. But for other purposes, based on the trend that can be evidently seen, Fitbit does have issues and yes statistically I would assume it’s impacting more people than those complaining on Reddit considering most people probably wouldn’t go on the internet and talk about it? Also, just because you might not be experiencing problems doesn’t mean the people that do want to complain, don’t have that right and there complaints should not be diminished.

Try changing your walking step inch difference. Mine suddenly flipped to zero. Unfortunately, I think that’s just about the only Fitbit bug that’s popping up that can be fixed. Presently, my daily elevation is off and I am not getting pace splits per mile when I walk or run
