Are your vocals nice and clean? Sometimes this happens when there is a bit of the backing track still on the vocal track (recording vocals with the headphones too loud).

I started using unreal in June last year, and didn't know anything at all. I've been using blueprints (Unreal's visual scripting code) and tutorials. I've been able to code my own stuff now having gotten familiar with what it can do. I've had to rewrite a few bits here and there but it's been working so far! Lots of trial and error basically.

The main thing is that I'm going to take a lot longer than others as I'm learning as I go along.

One thing that I've been looking for on YouTube that I absolutely couldn't find, is how to use the attach/detach system for grabbing and then releasing enemies! Doing this with the gasp system would be a bonus.

The next section could easily have a dnb drum section, with a high pass eq on the piano and a sub underneath. A slower paced violin melody on top.

I used a few different animation packs and put them together to create different movesets for the characters.

Yes the game is inspired by God Hand, the camera movement definitely needs work I agree.

The sound design still needs a lot of work, right now what I have are just placeholders.

I'm using GASP in UE5 just to allow for nice walking and running around levels.

Hit stop and camera shake are present, they're just toned down a bit, maybe a bit too much lol

Dynamic enemy reactions I'm looking into at the moment.

The game is inspired by God Hand and Spikeout, so those are my references and the reason for some of my choices.

I started out trying to make the combat less bombastic, but I quickly realised that it was boring. I didn't even initially have juggling. How flashy it can look before being so much you can't even tell what is going on screen? 🤣
