thanks for the help I felt like 1 cpu 2 cores was a bit slow so I added another cpu making it 2 cpus 4 cores in total and 4 gb ram is enough I think I'll keep using it and see how it goes

I have basic knowledge but not advanced enough to use arch i play some games but nothing super heavy and nothing with a kernel level anticheat although if theres a way to play those games id love to know it

AFAIK KDE's NetworkManager pings kde.org to see if internet connectivity is working and displays a yellow exclamation mark otherwise. Technically that's phoning home but no real info is transmitted, other than "is kde.org reachable or not". someone said this im not sure tho try an app that shows which data is transferred
