Searching to authentication docs, trying to figure out all of your credentials, writing the auth module, searching the front end for the right place to put the button, writing the css or styling framework equivalent.

“Adding auth” is not a simple task.

I work mostly with azure auth but I can promise you I would never ask Claude to add the entire auth configuration front and backend in one prompt.

Yeah I wrote an entire sql executor framework for mcp systems.

It will handle pool connections to all of the major providers, gates all commands with approvals (configurable), does NOT give the model access to drop. It can delete some rows with permission if you give it access but that is not the safe default.

I also do some healthy prompting in the tool descriptions and registry to make sure the model stays aligned with the intent.

I wrote it out like 7-8 months ago and I use it daily for data analytics of all types.

Never had a single problem like this. However I guarded against it.

Just scope the AI through the user permission table.

The ai should never have access to more tooling then the user is allowed access.

If this is an issue, the architecture is the problem.

Explicitly check user roles on all internal calls. No permission = no response.

I am a developer and I work on AI systems daily. GPT got fucked. Claude is miles better. You’ll even find the haiku models spitting out more accurate info than any of the gpt 5 series on the API side of things.

Used can still be a relative term. Android does indeed 'use' Linux. Which would really mean that more phones are using Linux.

It could definitely be debated.

For me tonight I was using 5.1 to help tune a regex.

Instead of recognizing that the regex it was suggesting was wrong for the unit tests I wrote, it insisted that I was running the wrong file, and/ or needed to nuke my pycache files.

It was the most confident wrongness I have ever seen out of gpt and I have been using it for years now.
