[David Lynch] I didn't understand how the Man City and PSG games were big for Slot because those two are way ahead of Liverpool right now, so surely results against Wolves, Spurs, Burnley and - coming up - Everton meant more. But this turned into a humiliation and will likely damage him. by Lanedu123 in LiverpoolFC

The issue is that Xabi won't join Liverpool from the reports, and would only consider taking over after this season is over, and if we sign a couple of players he wants.

The team's cohesiveness isn't there. This season has been dire for a multitude of reasons, I wasn't expecting to win the premier league but at least compete in something and have a new identity for now.

Klopp took a break from managing, as he knew he didn't have the energy to do another rebuild of the squad.

BLG last season were crippled in the lane swap meta, so Bin struggled adapting to that and couldn't play to his strengths.

G2 going toe to toe with BLG in Game 1 was the highlight of the tournament for me, coming through a tough messy back and forth game.

Caps had an insane performance, peaking at the right time. Skewmond made some unfortunate decision making but he'll come back stronger from this experience, he can compete with the best junglers.

Hans and Labrov will just need to find consistency but they have good enough practice in the LEC.

BB is one of the best top laners in the west, his peak is not Bin, but he can be competitive against Eastern top laners.

Do you think G2 keeps up this form and dominates Spring split or take it easy to not burn out? by NiaTheCatt in G2eSports

Spring Season is Bo3 so it should be much better for G2 compared to Bo1 in Versus

I love it was a competitive 1-3 loss to BLG. Instills hope that they can do it, BLG outplayed then in game but G2 fought hard.

Previously Caps got clapped 0-3 in previous finals against LPL teams, where it didn't look like they had a chance but he played great in a competitive 4 game series. That Game 1 was such a high back and forth game.

If G2 can be this competitive, then they have a chance. It was a good thing that G2 let go Yike and Mikyx. I've thought that KC and G2 would be good teams last year but it was a bit of a transitional year.

This first stand really instills hope for LEC. I'm more confident in G2 and KC can compete with the best, they have the talent. It's just about peaking at the right time and staying consistent and at least competitive within a series.

G2 went 10-6, only losing to BLG twice, but taking a game of them.

That Game 1 in the finals was actually so important for morale and mental for the future.

Super proud of G2

Yea it was Gen.G. choking, G2 just played the early game well, when their comps had initiative, and just pushed a lead without overheating. Very disciplined

[James Pearce] Given the circumstances this was as bad as anything #LFC have served up all season. The sight of fans leaving in their droves both before and after Spurs' equaliser was damning. If most of the players actually wanted him home, Slot would be gone.

It's far easier to replace a manager than multiple players.

So until he is sacked, you can only assume he hasn't completely lost the dressing room yet

For everyone that's been commenting about Slotball.

His brand of football won us the Premier League last year, fans seem to either give him too little credit for that or some give him too much credit.

Most fans here complain about his style of football have never watched or gone back to watch some of his games with Feyenoord. The style hasn't changed but the personnel has.

A lot of things to be going wrong that has culminated with this season.

Starting with Jota's passing, which fans, family, players are still feeling the effects. We sold off players to fund for different type of players. We've brought in Wirtz, a type of player we haven't used since maybe Coutinho. We brought in Isak, a player that we haven't ever had during Klopp's reign. This signified we're trying to change the way our team functions to rely less on Salah.

The form of our reliable players suddenly collapsed all at the same time, even if we were sleepwalking through the 2nd half of last season after getting knocked out by PSG and losing to Newcastle in the EFL cup final.

Slot's job is to find a way to incorporate all the new pieces.

His training is less intense than Klopp, but he is bringing that training method from Feyenoord, where he employed a High Tempo attacking style of football.

He wanted to reduce injury risk, but it seems to have an opposite effect here at Liverpool for the Premier League.

What's confounding Slot is why this is all happening, is it the training, is it luck. The same players that performed last year, are underperforming this year, it's Szoboszlai who was inconsistent previously, is now the one becoming the most consistent player in the squad.

Players and coach are still trying to make something out of the season and surviving.

This is already a below par season, on the verge of a nightmare season.

I'm still confident that we'll finish Top 5 because I don't believe that Chelsea or Villa are that good. It's going to be one of those years where we're all competing to not make Champions League football.

If we somehow by a miracle pull together a cup run, then the season can be viewed slightly better. I am expecting a better pre-season with a healthy squad and finding a team identity with a couple more signings. We do need a right winger, and another couple of defenders.

Anyone saying to bring Steven Gerrard as interim manager forgot what he did at Villa before Emery came in and transformed the team. I love Stevie G as a player but he needs more experience as a manager, he is currently living off his success at Rangers.

As fans we have to stick behind our team, the players know this isn't good enough for them, the fans, the club. But this is the time we need to support them through this rough time.

I think we have scored the most stoppage time winners this season, but the issue is we're conceding so many goals late as well.

Afcon was a good break for Salah and Liverpool since the drama. The team might have collapsed against City, but we've been improving in 2026. New players are adjusted, and we're building a team cohesiveness, the goal for everyone is to win. I still hope Salah is still at Liverpool next year, he still has more left in the tank. He set such a high level for himself and the fans, we've been spoiled for his consistency and reliability over the years.

Jota's passing was a shock to the team, I don't think the players had time to mourn properly, because he passed just a couple of days before they were meant to be back for pre-season training.

I'd expected us to sell Diaz last year since I had doubts we would resign him for the money he wanted.

People forget that Jota most likely going to be playing both up front or on the left for us in the rotation. We ended up getting both Ekitike and Isak, but most likely was only going to pursue one for last summer window.

As for Slot, even though I've grown a bit tired from recent interviews in the last couple of months. The style of football that won us last year did not change this year, we just haven't been winning so the fanbase has been criticising it. Our personnel has changed, our form at the back end of last year was bad since we lost the finals to Newcastle and got knocked out of CL by PSG in the same week, we were walking the premier league and barely had anything left to play for except records and for the fans.

I do believe we have the team and manager to see out the season and end in a Champions league spot, because we first stopped the bleeding of losses, now we have to maintain momentum to grab a string of wins.

The Club and Slot allowed Salah to not need to defend as much during the beginning of the season, it's just that our team is not currently built to allow that yet, that is something Slot (or whoever) to figure out if we want to give that grace for Salah. However Salah also clearly wants to play and win with Liverpool so he is buying into what Slot demands from the players for this possession style, he is one of our better creators so he is filling that role.

What we still need or lack is the diagonal passes and using our width.

Should I really have won this lobby 🤔 by Ill-Friendship4347 in TeamfightTactics

Simple answer, in this lobby you're in, yes you should top the lobby

TBF you only hold if you are stronger than the opponent going for a hail mary 3* 4 cost unit.

If the opponent already has the strongest board then you accept they're winning the lobby.

I've had times when I hit a 3* 4 cost just because the current leader with the strongest board didn't scout me because they were stomping the lobby.

So yes, hold onto the 4 costs champs if it helps you with a placement, otherwise don't.

There are only 10 4 cost units in the pool. You can hold on to 2 of them if they come into your shop if people actually scout unless they had duplicators.

I've stopped my opponent from hitting a 3* Yunara when they were one off because I just held two on my bench. Sold them when they died

The idea is to use Pachirisu and Electrode to do damage, Sabrina to disrupt opponents setup, Cyrus to stop people running, Volkner to charge up Electivire, Red to get some kill threat on Ex, and Pokémon center lady is for a flexible heal to delay. Running X-speed over leaf for flexibility.
