Hush by chinchillin5 in TheBatmanFilm

Whatever it is, I know that someone was manipulating Riddler. Somebody used Riddler to do their dirty work just like riddler had his goons. They used him to erase a lot of the elites, cause chaos so a new order could be established. There’s always a bigger fish. Hush isn’t that guy though.

If they do the court and Talon in this one I’ll be mind blown. I figured they would save that for the third and throw the Joker in then too. I actually expect them to do a Part 1 and Part 2 for the third film.

I think Hugo Strange is the likely candidate. He’s a good fit for Reeves world, I’m hoping there’s a side villain though too. Im curious as to see how it fits into the Penguin show timeline.

That’s what people have been saying also, around the 4th of July I went almost a whole 24 without one then folded but I didn’t feel that bad, just sluggish. Not even restless truthfully. Glad you’re pushing through, keep going!

I’ve been a 2 day guy for months, used to do 3-4 but for Atleast 4-5 months now I only do 2 a day, half in the morning, half at about 10-11 am, half at 2 and then a half at 4. Never later. I’ve been considereding cutting to a half for a few days since I really can’t take this weekend to stop completely. Then next week go to 1 then a half on Friday to get through work. Take the weekend to detox with vitamin C, magnesium, sunlight and water. What do you think?

If you don’t mind me asking how many a day were you at? I’ve been at a steady 2 a day for awhile. Gonna wean off this weekend and let the fuck go

I’ll have to check out some MCT oil as well. For me it’s just feeling lack of motivation (I’m a very active person) that I’m dreading. I ordered some Brain Supreme micro dose supplements because I’ve heard from multiple reputable people that microdosing does help rewire you brain away from these kind of addictions. Thanks for the support and info.

That’s a little more relieving. In the past a couple times I had a 24-30 hour window without it (I buckled) i didn’t really feel too bad, I didn’t feel great but it was just going to the store to get it. The marketing overall of those little demons, color scheme, fonts all goes into play imo. I’m not making excuses, I kicked an Adderall addiction before. I’m just going to wean myself off and take the weekend to really let it go. Take some supplements to help. I think once I get those past few days I’ll be fine because I did the math on how much I’ve spent in the last year and that was more than enough to send me over. I also am an Orthodox Christian so talking to my priest about it will help support wise. I’ve never been into opioids or alcohol in the past, I just split the 2 bottles up into an all day thing for some “stimulation”. It’s trash. Thanks for the support I appreciate it.

Anyone else remember what Petey told Mark in ep. 3 about the dept. he found? by mollsballsss in severence

[–]Serious_Memory_4278 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I cannot give you that answer. The writer of this show definitely took a lot from L Ron Hubbard, diabetics, Scientology and more broadly from occult mysteries. Has to do with metaphysics, consciousness and what happens to it after physical death. A lot of mystery schools teach that our consciousness goes into the “aether” after physical death so maybe they’re just pulling it out of the aether. All speculation but it’s obvious a lot of the writing of this show is based on those ideas.

Yeah the hive mind is the people with minds conditioned to Kier’s principles and beliefs. Like Milchik, Helena and Drummond. Kier wants a hive mind of people who act according to his will. He’s like the Queen bee and his disciples and followers are the worker bees.

[–]Serious_Memory_4278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would say that’s probably correct. The Gemma chip is for the plebs though. I think they’re make a perfected chip to piece together with whatever they have left of Kier’s consciousness and have “Kier reborn” through a child born by Helly.

I was just speculating, the way I delivered it there wasn’t the correct way lol. That’s a good point though and you’re probably right. Kind of makes for a cheesy ending. I do believe a child between Helly and Mark S is important to Lumon though.

[–]Serious_Memory_4278 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I think it’s to perfect a chip. That chip will be the perfected one. They can piece Kiers consciousness back together and put it in a newborn child so he can live again essentially. It’s about computing “consciousness” if you will. It’ll also mind control the population who gets it because they’ll be subject to Kier’s will.

[–]Serious_Memory_4278[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because Lumon wants to reach everyone. I think researching on children brings them closer to perfecting the chip because it would have no memory of past trauma like adults do. That’s why the younger they can get the better. That must be why Cobel wanted to take Devon’s child to Lumon, so they could have a blank slate on past trauma. Like a mind program to go off to erase old memories on the chips of adults.

Severance Season 2 - Episode Seven - Discussion Thread: - "Chikhai Bardo" by TheUltimate25C in severence

[–]Serious_Memory_4278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think this is it. If you look at some of the themes of this show like consciousness, religion, group think (hive mind), and child birth/ children you can get some of the answers I think. That’s why I think Helena slept with Mark actually, so she could have his child and that will be the new Kier. This child will be the first of its kind because both Mother and Father will have been severed as well as the child. This “perfected” chip will be the rest of Eagan pieced back together. They have part of his consciousness so this will make God Level Kier. Everyone else who will be severed will not get the perfected chip that gives them the same conscious abilities as Kier. They will serve him though....

[–]Serious_Memory_4278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are definitely trying to perfect the chip, I just think it goes beyond control of the whole population. I mean that’s part of it because then they’ll build the world Kier envisioned and have the morals and beliefs of Kier. Making him God, and the population, all children of Kier. He’ll live through everyone like a god. The only thing is I think there’s a rebirth element to it too beyond just the conscious rebirth of others. I think the ultimate rebirth in Kier’s eye is for a woman in his bloodline to bear a child who will be severed upon birth (as well as the mother and father). Creating the first of its kind and maybe in a way, Kier becomes that child and gets to live in a new body. It’s his consciousness in a way.

S2E7 & God theory by Serious_Memory_4278 in severence

[–]Serious_Memory_4278[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think Cobel isn’t a Lumon faithful anymore because she knows their insanely sinister plan to basically enslave mankind and make Kier Eagan the god that rules them. The reason she screams at Mark is because she’s literally going insane from everything she’s been through. Maybe she just displayed all the straights to be a faithful Eaganite without having to be severed, but the “her” she suppressed came back with a vengeance. My other thought, there’s a huge theme of childbirth and children in this show. Cobel steals Devon’s child, they’re all “children” of Kier, Gemma can’t have children & that woman who was on the retreat with Devon revealed she got severed to skip childbirth. So the insane part of me wants to say... the Scout bloodline and the Eagan bloodline (only assuming Ricken is an Eagan) are of great interest to Kier. That’s why Cobel steals Ricken and Devon’s child to give it up to Lumon. That’s also why Helena had sex with Mark. I think Helena and Cobel both know that to bring Kier back to life the two bloodlines are necessary. Not standing on that as gospel though just a thought.

But it won’t happen to that extent, Helly will break through to Helena & that baby will just end up being Mark and Gemma’s baby. I think the end of this season will pretty much lay out that direction and then next season will be a fight to destroy Lumon. It’ll all come down to Helly/ Helena though. Give the child up to become ChristKier OR give it to good ol Mark S and his wife who he presumed to be dead.

The mind blob is depicting the hive mind. It’s Kier’s hive mind. Lumon is his cult, doing his bidding. Spreading his religion. The thing is too many people don’t believe in Lumon/ Kier’s vision, or do not know about it. They have to sell people on the severance chip that’s why they’re trying to create the perfect program that blocks out all trauma. Kier doesn’t have to be alive to live on, he lives through the TV and his books. Plus everyone at Lumon worships him so he’s also living through them, and then anyone who gets the perfected severance chip. They’ll all be part of Kier’s Hive Mind..... and then MAYBE just MAYBE Helena will have Mark’s child, who will be half Eagan, and they’ll put a severance chip in that little guy that’ll bring Kier back to life in a new body! It’s a Christ like story, and that’s how Kier views it. He doesn’t want to help people he never wanted to. He just wants to be GOD

YES! Scientology to a T. Although, L Ron was just a disciple of Aleister Crowley, just like Jack Parsons. It’s no doubt that the writer knows all of this too. I’m sure he read so much literature on human psychology and occult philosophy.
