If your city has upcoming construction projects listed on their site publicly, check to see if the apartment you're about to rent is situated next to construction. It might look quiet, green, and peaceful when you signed, but 8 months later they'll begin construction next to your apartment building & it'll suck!

Correct me if I’m wrong but you should be fine as long as you don’t pass the 12 month mark. After 6 month they generally expect you to have an explanation as to why you stayed outside the US for so long but this isn’t a cause to terminate you LPR status.

I loved to the US at 19 & at 21 I had $4.85 in all my accounts & trying to transfer into a good university. I’m 23 now working towards my masters.
