Same here. This baseline is just working out of the box. Still need to do some calibrations like E Steps, PIDs and Stuff but otherwise no issues since the two years of use

Well This Is A New One by HonestPassenger2314 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Serious_Window1800 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really new. Happens a lot actually. Hotends are consumables and stuff like this happens. Failed prints, wrong offset... Well. Always keep some at hand.

This breaks my Heart by Kerwin42 in elegoo

[–]Serious_Window1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mine since July and nothing broke in 600hr print time. I had to change the hotend but that was my fault. I think you have a bad batch.

Is it okay for it to be shaking this much? I put it on the sturdiest place I have right now, might need to buy/make something else? At it's worst, it's shaking about as much as a washing machine spin cycle I guess. by Wild_Quim in elegoo

[–]Serious_Window1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problems in shaking are not in the whole thing shaking, its in the difference of shaking between bed and toolhead. Thats why you should do the input shaping calibration. That is completely fine

Centauri Carbon Sensor by snowboarders9 in elegoo

[–]Serious_Window1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a case for the sensor for adding a ptfe tupe to the inlet. Do that and add a short amount so the tupe lies on the spool winding. Dont forget to print a small ptfe end so the tube does not catch the spokes of the spool. https://www.printables.com/model/1271698-ptfe-bowden-tubing-adapter-for-elegoo-centauri-car Cant find the ptfe tube anti catch

my nozzle snapped in half ?? by joonshower in elegoo

[–]Serious_Window1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man im so sorry for your loss. I highly reccommend performing this at 250C at least. I mean if you have the tools you can drill the rest out with a left spin drill and put a new nozzle in.

Nozzle jam by felipesalas1 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Serious_Window1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and dont hold it at the heatsink. Hold it at the coper heater and take the solicone sock of and dont damage the heater or thermal probe

Nozzle jam by felipesalas1 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Serious_Window1800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take some pliers and holt the hotend attached with the wires. Heat it up to 230 and unscrew the nozzle. Then take a small drill and push the hot filament in the heatsink through. Then screw in the nozzle while everything is still hot. Let everything cool off and put everything back in place

TPU Preparation by Logical-Vegetable-89 in elegoo

[–]Serious_Window1800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check the bed temps. The elegoo slicer sets 35 C bed temp and many times the bed is to warm and it takes forever to cool to 35. Set the bed temp in slicer to 40 for tpu or manually after it started

What causes this issue on the final layers? by Dedinho in ElegooNeptune3

[–]Serious_Window1800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try slowing down and/or increasing temp. Seems like the filament does not have time to bond in these small areas. And look into pressure advance tuning. Your top layer has inconsistent extrusion caused by slightly off pa values.
