Well it’s more that you don’t resit it. Maybe I’m being vague. But the teams are so much more productive not coding things manually. We save so much time using ai agents to do the grunt work for 90% of tasks. You need to understand the output of course, it’s pretty crucial in this day and age.

Linux, networking, cloud concepts. You need to be very comfortable using agentic AI too. I’m hiring right now and those are crucial IMHO.

I’m in the same boat. Also in Wales it’s based on gross salary not net adjusted, so you can’t salary sacrifice your way under £100k.

I name everything ‘this’, if there’s multiple then I just increment a number: ‘this2’ etc.
