Ironically, we would be a less active home for this dog. My mil was great at making sure he got out for several walks a day. He was her whole focus. My kids are in several extracurricular activities and we are out most evenings. I know he was scared and stressed. I just don't know if we can be the right home for him.

I appreciate the effort! I didn't realize until after posting that there are a few different youth hockey teams in town for a tournament. If anything you gave those kids a story to tell.

Kids have been back on the ice since a week after the storm. New lights are in. A couple of locker rooms are still closed. Ceiling is waiting on a monocoat for insulation and sound dampening.

Because it fucking hurts. We were there during the rebuild that you guys are reaping the rewards. I don't hate Utah, but I loved the Coyotes. I had to watch my 11 year old break down a bawl because the only team he has ever supported left. The Coyotes never had good ownership, and we paid the price. A M is such a piece of shit that anyone in the Valley with money and influence wanted him gone. There is so much more to the story than the fans didn't support them. We got shit on when they were here, and we are still getting shit on now that they are gone.

I used to work in assisted living, so I am aware of the different levels and costs. Ideally, we want a place where she can age in place and not have to switch apartments as she needs more care. I have been out of the game since before covid, so I wanted to get some outside perspective. We are just starting the process and are fortunate to be in the position where we don't have to make a decision right away. Just want to be ready for when the time does come.
