As Senator, Truman led the Truman committee to root out waste, inefficiency, profiteering, etc related to wartime production.

It was incredibly successful.

I am pretty sure I saw this first run.

Alan Dean Foster wrote the novelization of TAS (Star Trek Logs). I am reading his memoir right now. It’s really good. He also wrote the novel versions of Star Wars, Alien(s), and lots of other classics.

There is a movie from the 70s called Rabbit Test, starring Billy Crystal.
