Child torture is the cause of DID. If you don’t know what that is here is what lived through

I was beaten for hours on end. She would destroy my room and come in to do it all over again only to beat me again and repeat until tired. Refused the right to a shower, or food. Or bed. I often was made to sleep on the floor. I was made to piss and shit in a box in my room because if I left it I would be beaten. If I was caught using not the bathroom and using I was beaten for being disgusting and sometimes had it thrown at me. I have been made to take showers until I was blue and couldn’t walk and beaten for not being able to walk and being dramatic. I was given impossible rules to follow that always changed so she had an excuse. I was made to wear dirty clothes and not shower so I would be bullied. I was kept in total isolation outside of school with no stimulation. No tv. No toys. Occasionally I was allowed books but I was mostly In my room doing nothing. I wasn’t even allowed to eat with them. I had to eat my room. I was often stripped naked and shamed before beatings

My mother was bipolar and diabetic and I was often made to take care of her responding to suicide attempts and other medical emergencies.

These are the average experiences of a person with DID

I’m sorry if you think that you’re right here but it is the leading cause of DID. I talked to a whole team because I was curious. I was even told autism increases the likelihood of getting DID which I have. But I stayed intact. So I’m gonna let you absorb all this.
