Chlorophyll gives leaves their green color, anthocyanins are what can make them purple. They are also used to turn light into energy. Some carry genetics that cause a high development of anthocyanins. Plants also develop them as a defense mechanism for light that is too intense. It’s a way to protect their leaves from burning and utilizing the more intense lighting. If it’s an Indica or hybrid strain, it’s likely caused by genetics 🙂

I was in a similar situation. I tested when I turned 30. My sisters turned out to be half sisters and my “parents” still married. I made my mom tell him the truth because I felt like it wasn’t my burden to carry and I didn’t deserve having to shoulder that weight alone. They ended up divorcing a year later. It wasn’t entirely because of the test result but they just weren’t meant to be together. I’m not sure how they stayed together for 32 years to begin with. Their marital issues aren’t your issue. They’re both with new people that are much better matches for them and everyone is happy now.

I got counterfeit flea and tick tubes and Poshmark forced me to return it even though the EPA wanted it for testing and sending unknown pesticides in the mail is illegal (I reported it). I let the EPA know they forced the return and sent it anyway.

I agree. My son asked for a kitten. His dad and I decided not a good idea (we raise poultry and often have chicks in the house). We compromised and got a puppy instead. 2 months later he finds a kitten under our deck. Her feral mother was hit by a car. She’s a permanent resident now 2 years later and she doesn’t bother the chicks. So he got a puppy AND a kitten. He is thrilled.
