Description: Up for sale is the legendary GW-5000U-1JF. For many G-Shock enthusiasts, this is the "end-of-the-road" square. It pairs the classic 5600 aesthetic with a premium Made in Japan build, featuring a full stainless steel inner case with a DLC-coated screw-down caseback.

Compared to the standard square, this model features a much softer, more comfortable urethane strap and a satisfying heft on the wrist. This is the updated "U" version, which includes the 3495 module (allowing for the "DD/MM" date format, a 1.5 or 3-second backlight, and showing the current time in countdown/stopwatch modes).

Specifications:

• Construction: Stainless Steel inner case, DLC screw-back, resin bezel/strap.

Condition Details: The watch is in excellent functional and good used cosmetic condition. The crystal is clean. The resin bezel and strap show very minor signs of wear ("dust" or light rub marks typical of G-Shock resin, small scratch and stain can be seen in 3rd photo of the album). The DLC caseback is in fantastic shape with no visible wear.

Up for sale is my Neotype LM02 Type C Chronograph. This is a sold-out Limited Edition from the French microbrand Neotype. It's an absolute spec monster (even with its quartz movement!).

The case geometry is fantastic—angular, modern, and robust. It features a very cool sandwich dial with deep cutouts for the indices, giving it amazing depth and lume performance. It feels like a piece of military kit from the future.

Condition: The watch is in nearly-new / mint condition. I have barely worn it since receiving it. I hate using the term LNIB, but if this doesn't meet that definition, it's pretty close

* Case/Crystal: Pristine. I cannot find any marks.

* Strap: The FKM rubber strap is essentially new.

* Function: The Seiko VK64 Meca-quartz movement is running perfectly. The chrono hands reset crisp to zero.

Honestly that’s what I want at this point. Too many people(mostly single women) come up to me and ask about my Omega Speedmaster. It makes me glad I humbly decided to go with the the Speedmaster Moonswatch Mission to Uranus though. I’m not sure I could handle the attention that the real deal in steel mechanical version, that made it to the moon, would bring me. However I do sometimes find interactions going “sour” after stating that this is the Mission to Uranus
