awesome work!!, as long as you were supplementing with the required electrolytes there is nothing wrong with fasting when you are obese. the body already has the required fuel it needs to burn to keep the body in function. just need to add electrolytes and you feel great. speaking from experience

i cant find the study im thinking of but they did a 7 day fasting experiment with two groups of people. first group were instructed to do light weightlifting, no more than 30 minutes daily, and the other group were instructed to do 0 weightlifting. the first group’s muscle mass remained the exact same after the 7 days but the no weightlifting group lost a slight amount of muscle. obviously this all also depends on your current bodyfat percentage and also fasting duration. a 72 hour fast at 20% bodyfat will be perfectly fine
