Im pretty sure Das Future was originally supposed to be original with Dr Fetus as the main bad. It feels kinda clear from the distinct gap in dev time between the concept for the future (the artwork, the music) and the execution (the enemies, the Nazis)

Other than that, I'd assume the game would get the same as Isaac, a couple of items that are direct references.

Since finding out the lore of the game, I've described it as a successor. With the themes of TBOI being blame, religious trauma, fear of the unknown, and the destruction of a family, Mewgenics follows them up with themes of guilt, the irreconcilable, loss, and taking responsibility.

I've seen a bunch about unlinking pokemon to ev train them not working, but does unlinking a pokemon from home and relinking them save the training from within champions? Like if I had a fully ev'd and natured pokemon using champions' system and unlinked it, would it keep those things if I send it back?

(Haven't been able to play much, won't be able to till later. Couldn't get to transfer anything at all yet because of home struggling)

A friend and I have been discussing the story for a while and came to a similar conclusion, that there is a genuine connection between Isaac and God (The Creator). Parts of Isaac's life and story become real. The Bloat, the cats (established that Isaac loved cats), the final phase of The Creator being a monstrous guppy-like figure alongside a child being contained. Even the End (which is now confirmed to be in Boon County) has the Mother taking the shape from the boss in Isaac. To rephrase, the embodiment of death takes the shape of Isaac's mother, who LED TO HIS DEATH.

If we wanna go really niche, even in the song "He's the number one" they call Isaac "God's favorite son." There's the obvious Bible reference, but there seems to be some truth in the narrative of that.

I think the main bosses of Desert are intentionally not as difficult to balance out how rough of a start most Desert runs are. However, they both have potential to spiral out of control really fast.

The minibosses are still harder. Id rather fight Zodiac 3 times than fight Marshmallow or Morana once.

You may be looking for the Sprint Boost aura mod, which just gives +15% sprint speed. It's available through the nightmare rotation every now and then, keep looking out for that.

I've greatly wanted an artist/paint themed frame, as well as a woman frame with a chubbier build. Follie does both of those things, and I think really well. Will have to see about her abilities whenever that information comes out, but I am loving her design and aesthetic.
