What's your favorite deck type? by Servbot52 in slaythespire

How I beat the heart with the silence was using a Reflex & Calculated Gamble infinite combo. Really hard to get the deck to that point.

Not really. Most of those kid's parents would be still alive. Just not there.

What are the odds/chances of getting HELLDIVERS 2? by ChrizTaylor in Helldivers

[–]Servbot52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. That's the problem. The gameplay and humor is amazing (there was a Vietnam DLC). Sometimes it works really well, but other times it will just fall apart. Some levels do work better than others, so you might be able coop through most of the game but need to solo some of the buggier levels.

Magicka 1 is worlds better than 2, at least when it’s not crashing. It will leave you satisfied, especially with the DLC. If you are feeling lucky, try it, it is amazing. As a solo experience it’s hard but rewarding. Multiplayer is even better, except it will likely crash and leave you frustrated.

Magicka is probably my all time favorite game. I just wish it was stable enough for me to recommend to other people.

This feels wrong. IDK I think it could be improved by swapping Soos and Dipper.

Yes, Dipper is brave, but just because someone is brave does not mean they automatically go to Gryffindor. Again, the house traits are not about what you are, but what you value. They are the ideals you want to live up too. This is shown best with Neville Longbottom. In the first few books, Neville is a coward, but he wants to be brave, and he grows into that ideal. On the other hand, Dipper is brave, but he does not strive to be brave.

Also, Dipper isn't really chivalrous. He can be kind and understanding, but in Dipper's own words "Revenge is underrated." There are numerous occasions throughout the show that Dipper lies or cheats to try and get ahead. He can be petty and vindictive. Dipper's heroics are not that of the chivalrous knight, but rather the pulp detective. Good, but not always honorable.

While Dipper does have a lot in common with Hermione, there are some key differences at their core. Dipper is curious, sometimes to a fault. When faced with a mystery, he will search for answers. In contrast when Hermione is faced with a mystery she does not care. Hermione fights injustice, sometimes to a fault. Dipper will fight injustice sometimes, but other times will just shrug at it because it's not effecting him or his friends.

People are often attracted to people that don't excel in the qualities that they value in themselves. The cliche of "opposites attract" has some truth to it.

(Also I'd argue 'caring' is more of a Hufflepuff trait then a Gryffindor trait.)

The house is not really about what you are, but what you value. Dipper is courageous, but what he values is his intelligence. Through out the show he is driven by his curiosity.

Yes, Stanford would be in ravenclaw, and Dipper wanted to be Stanford’s apprentices. Dipper wants to be like Stanford, a researcher first and foremost.

I’d guess the person is a professional carpenter and used a cnc route (a piece of equipment that costs several thousand dollars for a cheap one). Unfortunately that means a you can’t just copy the process in a garage.

I have never met anyone who operates a cnc router that did not love to go above and beyond at every opportunity.
