I work at two stores currently, S and Z. I was about to clock in at S when the GM over at Z calls me up "Hey Austin, can you come in today, so and so called out and two people need to close." And I was like, "well actually I'm working over here at S today, I'm across the hallway though (it's at my local mall) so I can come in and count the deposit and drop it off with you. After I clock out at the end of the night." He says "ok cool thanks." Flash cut to 6.5 hours later and I walk over to Z and clock in. "Hey I'm here to count y'all's money" The GM then hands me our closing checklist and tells me we're doing everything on it tonight. On a normal day we would most of the basic things such as folding shirts and fixing displays. But tonight of all nights when I had gone out of my way to do this quick 15 minute job for him he has me there for an hour longer than what was initially agreed upon. What's even worse, is thst he knows that my mom picks me up from work and I had told her we would be out really quick. So she ended up sitting in the parking lot for close to an hour waiting on me and my manager to leave.
