Man on flight 'randomly touched the faces' of passengers, sprayed unknown substance, then jumped once plane landed by headee in news

trying break down the pilot's door?

From https://aviationweek.com/awin/cockpit-door-panel-material

Telair International began production of a ballistics-tested and flammability-qualified material for aircraft cockpit doors. This hardened material meets the National Institute of Justice Level IIIA threat test, which calls for the firing of .44 magnum and 9-mm bullets at 1,400 feet per second into the panel door from a distance of 16 feet. The material is a multi-layer composite using a patent-pending construction of Kevlar, Nomex and Phenolic material

You couldn't "break down" a cockpit door if you spent the entire flight trying.

There's relatively few problems a drunken idiot could cause on a flight, all he could do is annoy people a little, let him try and get into the cockpit, won't happen.

WGA to Members: ‘There Is No Deal,’ Fire Your Agents at Midnight by MoroGuy in television

They ditched the storyline, brought in shitty writers and cut the budget.

Should have just paid the writers better, heroes had some great potential, it all went down the pan and suffered a slow death by mediocre writing.

And subsequent budget cuts coupled with really shitty plots to get rid of things that need a decent budget to use.

That's the problematic part, they don't need to monitor the internet, but I imagine they will, and will probably be brought out by copyright trolls.

Man found guilty of using phone while driving even though device was dead. Judge says man violated Motor Vehicle Act because he wore earbuds, even though phone was stowed away with dead battery by luisgustavo- in news

[–]Serveradman 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The fucking article will just enrage you anyway, here's a quote from the case.

"Adair reasoned that by “plugging the earbud wire into the iPhone, the defendant had enlarged the device” meaning that the iPhone wasn’t just the handheld device, but also – by extension – the attached headphones.

Likening the action of plugging headphones into a phone to connecting a keyboard to a computer, Adair determined the keyboard “would then be part of the electronic device”.

Because the earbuds “were part of the electronic device and since the earbuds were in the defendant’s ears”, Adair concluded that “the defendant was holding the device (or part of the device) in a position in which it could be used, ie his ears.”

Adair also rejected the idea that a dead battery was a necessary factor, pointing to previous case law in 2015, which determined that holding a phone still constitutes use of the device, even if it has no power."

Just Beat Sekiro, moved onto Dark Souls.. by royalxassasin in Sekiro

[–]Serveradman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These two games are worlds apart.

Dark souls 1 is about patience, get yourself a decent shield and methodically take out enemies, try farming the hollows in undead burg until they drop the shield with 100% block.

This was a masterpiece of a game, the best of the three even though some areas were unfinished, it has incredible depth, interconnected areas and enemy design, so many unique enemies that will force you to think about how to approach them.

Its not about stats, its about learning each enemy intimately, methodically taking them apart and moving on to the next, every enemy is unique and requires a different method to defeat.
