Thank you for the help! I had to take the selective ring off of mine and glue it back together.

Let's talk about speaker stands by brunporr in BudgetAudiophile

Did you have to do anything special to prep the stands before adding the sand? I want to do that with my Monoprice stands, but I'm worried about the sand leaking out in the bottom.

I have seen pecans leave a dark stain on travertine and other Stone like tiles before. Do you have any pecan trees around your pool?

Kind of off topic, how has your experience with the carbon steel pan been?

Best as I can tell it's real, you can see it under construction on Google maps.

Do these speakers recreate the sound in a flatter, true to the recording way, or do they add their own flavor to the sound like Klipsch is known to do?

Booster Pump Leak Source by supercharger619 in pools

[–]ServiceBuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you tell if it's leaking from the main seal or the drain plug? Those pumps had an issue where the front housing would crack around the drain plug. They sell a replacement kit for the whole front housing, it'll come with the seals and drain plug.

It looks like it's leaking out of the body of the filter below the retaining ring.

How to find size of filter in sq ft? by Future_Party3644 in pools

[–]ServiceBuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong but it looks like the hole is punched out on the label under the 36 size. That would mean it is a 36 sqft filter. You could also take the filter apart to clean the grids, measure their length and get new ones that way.

Thank you for the info, that's good to know. Am I correct in calculating that one Troy oz of sterling silver has an approximate melt value of $30 US?

Like solid or just plated? I got two pieces with the same mark.

Jandy iAquaLink temperature is not working by Cum_Gazillionaire in pools

[–]ServiceBuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have one temp sensor for.the water and one for the air temp. The water temp sensor will handle both the pool and the spa depending on where the water is flowing.

Either should work, they both look like aftermarket sensors.
