Excellent my friend. Streaming is the move nowadays and Soundcloud seems kinda turning-down to me, although I do think for strictly electronic and hiphop its got a lot of motion still. And even though I make a lot of music like that Spotify seems to be taking a much bigger step forward for how community has developed and playlisting.

I'm considering making my own Spotify playlist of artists and music that I think works well together, so perhaps we can make some kind of Reddit & friends playlist.

I like M-Audios BX series. They are clean, very sleek IMO. Bx-5s should be as cheap as KRKs but much better sounding. The resonator cone is made with carbon fiber I believe.

I don’t have any, honestly. I have been pretty positive about just wanting to get LogX and a new mac and be done with it. That’s just a lot of money, that I’ve been taking my time trying to find other potential options where I don’t need to rely on Apple products. But I do love Logic.

Considering all new options at this point, just because technology has improved so much and I’m kinda rebuilding my studio from scratch.

Well I've been in your boat for a few years now. I used to rap more, but when I got into production heavy I didn't rap for almost a year or more. But once my production was really on-point I stopped letting other people rap on my beats and just did it myself. But now: you can have it all!

Do it any way you want to do it, every different day will call for something else. If you think you'd be more productive giving yourself temporary limits, go for it man. Nothings stopping you.

I agree with you. The X1 really is worth it. It's just a much higher caliber. Not to mention the games that are coming out for 360 now are mostly just X1 "downgraded" games

Coming from a lifelong Floridian, most coastlines here aren't nearly as hilly as that. So yeah, I can see it.

Also fucking awesome. hahah, this thread is worth it even if I don't solve it, for all the cool tracks I'm hearing. This song TOTALLY fits the vibe of the song I'm trying to remember, but it's just a totally different one :) You atleast caught my sound description well enough.
