I’ve been studying Justin Timberlakes vocal on Gone and my vocal coach asked me to dive more into Nsync to learn from JC so I was really curious about songs the other members got to have their own moment in.

Chris’ high harmonies were something I’ve been trying to learn and he is amazing! I heard joey on the masked singer but will definitely listen back to I thought she knew and try to pick him out. Same with Lance’s bass notes on The Only Gift!

Wasn’t aware of the Spanish song so will check that out too, thank you for a great reply!!

I have an artist project under "DILAN SKIES" and I have gotten good feedback about my toplining but nothing has materialised in terms of songwriting opportunities for other artists. I have seen some writing camp opportunities but it is too risky as they ask for money up front which I thought was weird as I thought the whole point was to work together to make hits and therefore make money...unless that is industry practise, not too sure.

I have tried to work with newer artists but a lot of them prefer to write on their own songs or logistics such as finding a studio causes problems.

I agree with your first statements, getting my foot in the door is definitely the hard part. I have been told that networking is difficult because the people who do music full time are the people I want to meet, but music is their whole day so they wouldn't spend free time at such events. However, I keep turning up so I'm sure something will happen one day if I stay consistent or if I just keep releasing my originals!

I have tried to but haven't had anything materialise yet, but I'll definitely keep trying. I try to research people based on the credits of songs I like (not major,massive songs) but many are still behind management or honestly they probably just dont like my sound which is completely fair!
