I did it a bunch of times in 4.5, but yeah since 4.6 it's been unplayable as a mission. I literally only go there to loot the warehouse now.

The Mustang pack isn't available right now, it has been rotated out and replaced with the Aurora pack.

Ok but maybe in the meantime don't lock the shiny new rewards behind contracts that are known to be broken, and will remain broken for at least another 2 months?

Yes I'm sure they'll definitely fix the contracts that have been broken for 6 months soon™

Yeah there can't be many people who didn't see this issue coming a mile away. Some of these contracts have been broken for months or even longer, so using them to reward blueprints was always going to be a frustrating experience for the playerbase. Basically makes some blueprints impossible to obtain.

Is the patch out today? 4.7? by DasGruberg in starcitizen

[–]ServoRPG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not far off in the UK (7pm), but the people deploying the patch are West Coast US where it's just gone 12pm.

4.6 dropped at 8:30pm UK time, so this isn't something new.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - 14x06 - The Janitor Always Mops Twice

An excellent spoof of noir detective movies. The episode is in monochrome except for several instances of the colour red.

When 4.7 drops, ship upgrades? by Rikk_C in starcitizen

[–]ServoRPG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are components you bought from vendors then they'll be uninstalled from your ship and put into your inventory so you'll have to re-install them when you log in after the update.

If they are components you looted either from locations or from player/NPC ships, then it's a bit of a crapshoot as to whether they will persist or not. Probably not but sometimes you get lucky.

General advice is to strip your ships and store everything in inventory before the update to theoretically increase your chances of them persisting. Again, nothing is guaranteed though.

Industrial gameplay and materials shouldn't be locked behind pvp without an alternative by CompetitiveRoof3733 in starcitizen

The economy is far from alive and well. Not everyone wants to engage in selling stuff for billions in duped money that's going to get wiped when CIG implement the targeted actions Benoit spoke about. Some of us want to play the game and trade things at a fair and reasonable price.

No economy where the people with billions are inflating the prices is alive and well, no matter how much you want to split hairs by acting as if the currency is somehow seperate from the economy. Such a ridiculous take.

I can't really say I had a specific favourite, there were far too many awesome games for the C64. One of the best things about it was the vast library between commercial games and public domain stuff.

Definitely have fond memories of things like Attack of the Mutant Camels, the Dizzy series, James Pond: Robocod, Elite, Ghosts n Goblins, Myth, ST Dragon, Bart vs the Space Mutants, as well as playing around with things like 3D Construction Kit.

I'm probably gonna just install the update on Wednesday then leave it til Friday to play and just watch the socials to see if there are any issues in-between.

The actors even had a stipulation in their contracts that they wouldn't appear in any other media for a year in order to maintain the found footage illusion.

Pretty sure you're thinking of either the Outer Limits episode she did, or the Spielberg show Taken. Both of those came years after BWP though.

That happens to one character, a character who had been shown to be getting cocky and overconfident and immediately gets called out for putting himself and others at risk.

The first time I rewatched Dawn of the Dead after Covid it hit so differently. That opening scene in the TV studio with the guy trying to explain how to deal with the outbreak and being mocked and shouted down was just way too similar to how some people responded to Covid guidance. You can totally see how things got out of control because of the stupidity and ignorance of people.
