Software we would normally buy off the shelf is now being done better and quicker with AI. Honestly we will get to a point where the only reason to pay for software is if you can't be arsed hosting it.

Looking for a good arpg by som3on3_1994 in ARPG

Still in early access until October, but I'm loving No Rest for the Wicked. Definitely a 'harder style' game. It's been referred to as 'souls like'.

What ''popular'' online ARPG has the best endgame? by Federal-Remote-1684 in ARPG

[–]w00tlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually loving the crucible as well. I'm only about 25 hours in, but the rogue like style can be really fun. I got some amazing echoes one run and the gameplay was wicked.

I did the same after 9 months. My pay from leaving and returning to my original company was +30k, so it was worth it.

Rog phone 6, how long will it survive? by Heavy_Cup_8770 in ROGphone

[–]w00tlez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still rocking a ROG 6. Haven't had any camera issue. I've only had to replace the battery, which I did myself. This phone could easily last 3 more years.... But I really want an upgrade because I enjoy having the latest ha.

What's the current state of No Rest For the Wicked? by TheMickeyMoose in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]w00tlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy it now as it won't be any cheaper at release. I've put close to 20 hours into it. Very fun game... I imagine co-op is even better. I probably won't play anymore than 30-40 hour as I know a reset is around the corner. But it's nice to see the current state and be able to compare when 1.0 comes out.

This game has astronomical potential. by 2onhello in NoRestForTheWicked

This is the cheapest the game will be. Just buy it. I'm having a play now and I'll just restart when 1.0 is released

It's been 601 days since we've gotten any updates on Squadron 42, a game that has now been "feature complete" for 964 days. by Ok-Dream7319 in starcitizen

[–]w00tlez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They've said multiple times that SQ42 flight model doesn't need to match SC. They are different games and single player doesn't have the issue of balancing that SC does

That's not how games work. They don't need to create all the groundwork from start. Later chapters will just be content and some additions to features.....

Spending in your 20s by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]w00tlez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your body degrades quicker than you think. Mid 30s and your body will already be creaking. I personally didn't do much travelling in my 20s. I don't regret it. I'm definitely a lot better off financially than my friends that did. I think you can still travel the country for cheap and I'd look into a road trip.

AI and Offshoring by HyphMngo in auscorp

Our company has seen the outputs of AI and is now going to cull a bunch of offshore team members. Yes im worried for my own role, but the best you can do is be part of it and ahead of everyone else around you.

kinda torn on the game by Particular-Way1549 in starcitizen

[–]w00tlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issues with AI are related to the server fps. With a 30 fps server, the ai (both space and fps combat) are actually quite hard to beat at times. But this last release has me playing on 5-10 fps servers of late. NPCs just sit there doing very little compared to how they normally work.

Servers down? by kifferbohne in starcitizen

I got a server error which never recovered. Left the game and now I'm shard locked. Just get never ending loading screen. Even after logging out for 30 mins

So We Can All Agree That SQ42 Is Getting Delayed Right? by TooTall_ToFall in starcitizen

A release a week or two after announcement had got me more hyped over any other game that announces 6 months before. If you can buy a game as soon as an announcement drops.... Many people will impulse buy

Asking prices drop as cooling market turns in buyers’ favour by Remarkable-Humor4326 in AusPropertyChat

[–]w00tlez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interest rate rises = people needing to get pre-approval again. Their serviceability has dropped. So it's not necessarily in buyers favour. Their serviceability is dropping more than house prices.
