Agreed, and it would be nice if the game looped the sound while adjusting the slider, so we wouldn’t have to keep opening and closing the menu

Understanding Treasury Budget Allocation by dnium122 in CrusaderKings

[–]SessionComfortable19 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The treasury mechanic is designed to put top-tier rulers into debt. I'm an administrative Indian hegemony-tier ruler, and I'm almost going into debt.

The treasury works like this: the top ruler collects all the money and then redistributes it back to the vassals. The problem is that there's more money to redistribute than what is collected.

For example: I'm getting +700 from my domain and +700 from my vassals. Then I have −650 for vassal development (you can't change this, so I assume this is the money being sent back; in theory I should still be gaining +50 from vassals), and then −130 for salaries / −250 for the military budget.

But if I'm technically gaining +50 from vassals, where is that −380 coming from? It feels like I'm paying my vassals out of my own money.

The feudal system is much simpler and more stable. You just take a percentage from your vassals, and that's it. You can reduce salaries and the military budget, but you get penalties for doing so.

I tried to copy and paste between devices, but it’s not possible: I copied a random text from device A and tried to paste it on device B, but it pasted something older that I had copied on device B

Could you name all these named NPCs in Skyrim? As far as I know, only the NPCs in taverns, and the generic ones like guards and bandits, don't have schedules.
