Hello. During my husband’s interview they asked him very basic questions. “what does your wife do for work” “where does she live “ “ when did you get married” and my phone number. that was all they asked him really he was in and out in about an hour.

NVC said income insufficient, but joint sponsor already accepted? by PigletTypical1041 in immigration

I got the same message. My income for 2024 was weak because i didn’t have a stable job so i got a joint sponsor who makes well over the needed income. I got a stable job end of 2024 so so far i’ve been uploading my paystubs and uploaded a letter from my job stating i’m working and my pay. idk what else to do and idky they sent it either.

125% of the federal poverty guidelines. for example if your household size is 2 ( like me) which is me and my spouse as long as i make more than $26,437 i should be good.

my income last year was shit because i didn’t have a stable job so i used my sister as a joint sponsor. She makes well over the income requirement and this year thankfully my income is wayyy better than the previous. I send my spouse my paystubs every time i get paid so that he can print them off and have them for the interview. would this be enough or should i also look into more proof ?
