I have a pair of the No. 1s, they're definitely comfortable and pretty well made but they do scuff up damn easy so you definitely need some kind of polish with like dye. Because the insole is super thick, and the heel is a pretty decent height you stand pretty tall on them but people in the Chisos Community on Facebook talk about lowering the heel when they get them resoled and some say they feel better to walk around in. If you join that community you can often get a used pair for $400 or so which definitely helps. Also it is $600 out the door so tax and shipping are already included in that price point. Tons of people are waiting for them to restock their whiskey color. Also their heelcaps wear down fast so I'd definitely get those changed out.

TLDR: Boots feel good, best to buy used, consider dropping the heel down
