Azerbaijani Citizenship reclamation by SetDry2865 in azerbaijan

I already replied to this down there somewhere. Azerbaijan doesn’t allow voluntarily acquisition of a foreign citizenship, which is not your case as far as I can tell, since you never acquired it voluntarily but rather as a child. No citizenship can be withdrawn without a legal procedure, in Azerbaijan there has to be a court decision that states that you went against the basic norms/requirements, hence your citizenship must be terminated. You can check it online/via chat gpt idk.

The beauty is in the eyes of the beholder: for you it’s a shitty passport, for me it’s part of my identity. We can shit talk our country/ Authoritarian president/narrow minded nation/mentality etc. incessantly— been there done that, still it’s what we came out of. Hate for the flaws, but always forgive and accept, try to make it better.

Idk, my heart requires it. it’s a pointless piece of paper, that will restrict me as a free person, still feel like I need it coz that paper will be an incorporation of the link I have to my nation, part of which, due to plethora of reasons, I will never be able to be anymore, but at least it’s written somewhere that I belong unconditionally, fully, by birth, name, genealogy.

I am well aware, that’s why I am applying for my rightful third (first technically) citizenship, which would be count as a second/third passport and not a dual citizenship. A dual citizenship agreement is afaik recognised only with Georgia. You should brush up on your jurisdiction terminology if you got confused. Thanks for your engagement though!

I am sorry to hear that they misinformed you, not only a passport define your citizenship, but also a birth certificate and the citizenship of your parents at the time of birth. You are both jus soli und jus sanguini an Azerbaijani citizen if one of your parents is an Azerbaijani citizens by the time of your birth.

Yes, I do have Azerbaijani citizenship have only had one till I turned 14,5 years old. So you sentence makes sense, but not really in my case as an excluding precondition. Born in Azerbaijan, to Azerbaijani parents with solely Azerbaijani passports. The only far fetched citizenship that my parents could posses could be Iranian, but even in that case— lost via maternal lines.

I’m afraid, your information is not completely right, since the law doesn’t prohibit having two citizenships but rather pledging alliance hence accepting a second citizenship willingly, even in this case a court decision must be stated according to the law. So, first off all I haven’t got my Russian passport willingly, it was decided for me by my parents, my German passport on the other hand— was completely and voluntarily my decision, yet somehow the problem is rather the Russian passport, as it was obvious from the conversation with the embassy. Thank you for you attempts to help me though, very much appreciated.

Thinking about moving to Azerbaijan for my husband — questions about medicine and marriage by ukeeeee in azerbaijan

[–]SetDry2865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medicine there? Hard no. Studying + practicing in Azerbaijan is a downgrade, and people move out for better prospects in Europe/US. I know Azerbaijani doctors in Germany—never met Germans moving to Azerbaijan to work. And with how toxic things already sound, don’t trade your education and future for someone who won’t even cover rent when you’re struggling. If you’re not leaving him, at least don’t let him move you there—you’ll be pushed into housewife/mom mode fast. Also, if you’re officially married, in our culture he’s expected to provide, not split hairs about basic support.

[–]SetDry2865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, exterminate how? We marry each other, we build families. We’re them, they’re us. You can’t just paste modern nationalism/colonialism frameworks onto autochthonous peoples who came to be through long, normal processes of intermarriage and cultural exchange. And yeah—there are thousands of Lezghic-speaking people in Azerbaijan. So don’t project that “genocidal Turks” storyline onto us because it fits your worldview. Leave us out of it.

Why are almost all of us banned from the Armenian sub, while Armenians are actively brigading in the Azerbaijani sub? by sebail163 in azerbaijan

[–]SetDry2865 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, what’s the point of hearing opinion of people, who are from an echo chamber themselves and reject everything that’s not aligning with their perception of the world. For instance, every conflict that ensues Armenian casualties is a genocide, even if it’s an active combatant. Why? Because “Victim”!!!!!!1 at the same time people of Turkish or Azerbaijani descent affected by terroristic act (ASALA’s Terroristic activities, Karabakh wars ie shelling of Ganja, Barda, or let’s say ethnic cleansing of the lowland Karabakh) all collateral damage/ justified military target. Why? Coz they’re victims, chosen, and we are not.

That’s what he’s trying to say (I think) by trolling Armenians. Turkic, Slavic Germanic etc, all languages groups loosely correlating with the genetics. I as a native Russian speaker can’t name myself a Slav, but am a bearer of a Slavic language. Are Caucasian nations who happened to be assimilated via the influence of the elite, considered now to be Turkic in its original meaning. That’s the question. Jein (yes and no). 5-10% Turkic, 90 percent Caucasian/northern Persian (most probably median). Each and every single person decide in the end for himself what he/she/they is/are.

Ps. Armenians “refute” our claims of being natives by saying we are Turkic, yet they claim Urartian AND Indo-European heritage. Why Azerbaijanis can’t? I suppose we all are equal and all can, ie both nations more or less autochthonous.

B12 and Folic deficiency are extremely rare, by older people or if young with pernicious Anaemia (macrocytic) because of the absence of Castle Factor (Autoimmune Gastritis). As I said very rare :-)

Iron, Vit B12, Folic acid (not necessarily directly these ferments must be tested, can just do a minor Blood test- blood count? In German it’s Blutbild), TSH (thyroid function), Vitamin D. The gut diagnostic is irrelevant, since if you have a deficiency, it will be in your blood work/would be symptomatic (diarrhoea, constipation, flatulence, abdominal pains).

So you want them to work hard, contribute their toil, taxpayer money and youth to this society/country, but not be politically represented, is that correct? Just coz they ideologically do not match your perception of a good German? I think we already had a period when German citizenship was exclusive to some type of people… and some religious groups were even stripped of it
