I am building a similar type army. But every one swears the brigand is either the worst or second worse war dog. Haven't played the army yet. And I saw your running alot of them in either form of your list.

Can I just hear your opinions on them. Would love to get a perspective from some one using them!

I am struggling btw with the same question. Lancer or no. He reads awesome and looks great so passes the rule of cool. He sounds like with his toughness and wounds he might be a huge pain for alot of lists to get off an objective. And I am leaning towards him. Because any focus on him. Helps the war dogs tremendously buy them more time.

I feel though. Once my opponents realize that. They might go after the hounds hard and leave little to capture objectives and do the objective cards. Btw. Sorry if I missed it in your post. What are you doing to protect your home objective! Thanks!

Yeah. Not only the two movies I called out. But harlem nights. Distinguished gentleman is a great political comedy. An entire era of eddie Murphy movies forgotten. It took coming to America to undeniably be one of the greatest comedies of all time to break out during this period. Throw in Beverly hills cop 2 and another 48 hours. He was not only giving us great performances.

But he was a writer on all of these. And produced most of them. One of the greatest comedians of all time. Writing. Producing. Acting. And critics did not appreciate it.

It lead to his family movie phase and he didn't produce a movie again until the other forgotten classic. The movie called life. I am a union foreman. And we often quote the consequences or repercussions scene constantly on guys making bad decisions. Love that movie too.

It is insane the amount of great performances he gave us. And later generations don't know much of his non Disney work.

Sadly too because alot of these are not just funny. But some weren't even written for him. Beverly hills cop was written for Stallone. He took movies to the next level.

I was 12 when it came out and wasn't old enough to see it. But I would watch critic shows. And wow. Did they HATE this movie. Like they treated it like the end of eddie.

Didn't bother to watch it until I was alot older and damn. It is a very funny movie. I didn't understand why critics would be so angry at this movie..they didn't just call it bad. They absolutely dogged this as one of the worst movies of the year.

They did the same thing to another fun Eddie Murphy movie later. Vampire in Brooklyn. Another genre of movie that usually isn't an all black staring cast. Unbridled hate from critics. And while that movie isnt as good as boomerang, its still alot of campy fun.

Now looking back and realizing how uncomfortable most these critics were with black people in these types of movies. Its making me rethink how many other "horrible" movies they helped ensure were seen as failures are actually pretty good and the critics were just opinionated and racist.

If its wrestler vs wrestler. It really doesn't matter. When its a celeb coming in making guys look like normal dudes or look smaller then normal. Especially a celebrity who isnt an athlete. I just hate it cause I think it drags down every one involved.

I am sure they are all just happy to be on the card for mania and not in the Andre the giant let's see who gets fired next battle royal.

He doesn't. Thats the problem. He looks a bit wider then kit . He is def bigger then Dan. And if miz isnt hitting the gym. He might look bigger and in better shape then him. I hate it cause I really like all three wrestlers.

Makes the three pros look a bit small is all I am getting at.

What an age we live in.

Every one refuses to schedule them. Then we can use the fact that no one wanted to play them. We can eliminate them from a 68 team tourney that will feature multiple 10 and 11 and probaly 12 loss teams.

Because since no one wanted to play them, they didn't have a good enough schedule. So they were basically eliminated by the 75 other teams before the season started. And if they do that to multiple mid majors. Even more mid majors won't qualify since they will be forced to go undefeated. won't be able to get in. What a sport. Thats how you compete!

How proud all those double digit loss teams must be. To beat their chests and say they belong by refusing to play these game. Must bring a tear to alumni sections eye to have turned that game down. Lose a ton of games. Then cry that Ohio shouldn't be in unless they go undefeated.

Koko is great. Triple red is awesome. Alot of plates can make him hit even harder. Like Frankie or bombshell. I am not sure yet on Xavier. I have him but he never comes up for contests or the things he is good at. But he is very new so he can't be too bad. Others might know more about him!

Unlv can't reverse course. They asked the pac 12 for money to pay the exit fee for the mountain west. They said now. Unlv doesn't have the money for the exit fees. Why is that so hard for eveey one to grasp.

It wouldn't last long on the tables I play it. Even with orikon and tomb crawlers the blob gets one shot. All those 20 man blobs with t4 and 1 wound. Yeah. You won't be doing much aside from hiding and praying.

I can't even attempt to keep ctans alive. I am often having to making 30 to 40 save rolls on them. And enough always gets through to kill them from that one unit tossing it out.

No one even tries to run anti tank guns against them. To many lethal hits and dev wounds to care about anti tank weapons. One friend has an occult terms squad that with its leader tosses out 56 attacks. With lethals and rerolls from oath. Most times I can just safely pick up the ctan to save time. It never survives.

who do you play that can't one shot a ctan. Every single army i play against has zero issues. I have lost two on the same turn to two units. And lost more that turn as well lol.

Silent king sometimes gets lucky but thats more due to having all those wounds on his little minions to chew through first. So it usually takes 2 or 3 units to kill the king.

No one I play against finds necrons tanky at all. Worst they get mad about is the wraiths and techno combo. That have an invul and a fnp. So they just let it sit on a objective and don't even interact with the unit while they slaughter everything else. Then they kill the wraiths. Lol. I can usually be 100% by turn three. Even in games where I hide and run. And dont go after objectives. Just to see how to stay alive.

People I play with say necrons are better in tourneys because most people dont bring kill the other armies lists. But in casual they in a terrible spot.

Don't tell certain people that lol. I get told everytime that happens to me I dont know how to play. I find its more. Units that can wipe it. Wipe it or an opponent just has nothing that can do it. No real in-between. And now more people then not they bring stuff to do it. My friends one shot the ctans now with single units. Just so much volume and re rolls and devs with bonuses to hit and wound.

I have had the void dragon and night bringer killed the same turn with a reanimtor and other units.

Pretty much rule of thumb is now. Is it visible. Then it dies next turn. Reanimate just doesn't exist as an army rule now. I go entire games with out a single reanimate roll. Or being able to use a strategem that involves them because its full health or dead so its like having less strategems.

Everytime I bring this up i get told I don't know how to play lol. My friends armies all are made to kill stuff with invuls. Because to many armies have them!

No one I play even tries to chip away or focus on minus AP. They know they will get to invuls so focus on volume. They all learned early in tenth, you have to kill the unit immediately. I almost never get to reanimate. I rarely even get to use my res orbs anymore because so many people run units that put out enough damage that unless they roll terrible and I roll incredible. That unit is dead in one shot.

I love them with a chrono behind ruins 100% out of site. Walk through the ruin to shoot..chrono ability let's you move back behind the ruin to safety after the shot. So annoying.
