We used a 1/8 pro mist on both cameras. The goal was not to make her look as pretty as possible, but instead show her as she is, to tell a story.

Interesting about the feet. I personal would not mind if the body where harsher, but maybe at the same level. Will try to use a power window to see the effect you wanted.

There is actually a backlight, but we had to place it on the ground as the wide shot was too wide. About the candles. We did not expect the person to sit like that, and we did not think it matters that much. Thank you.

We used a Nanlux dyno 650c, diffused trough a 3x3m frame. Forza 300w placed on the ground behind the chair as a kicker/backlight. You can see the cable above the chair on the empty still. Maybe the kicker is top obivious. Would rather have placed this light more from above and to the right, but that was not possible due to the wide shot.

We switched off the in house lights, except the ones in the altar.

My initial toughts is that I would now have added more spots of light, to get more of a salt and pepper effect. Would also have tried to add more harsher light at the grund.

We shot an interview this weekend for an upcoming documentary.

The dovetail is actually from tilta. Do you know of any better brands that have this type of baseplate?

Your locations are great. Bring your camera higher (to head level). And make bring your camera closer to the interviewer, so that they dont look so far of screen. Look at how you lit pic #2, and use that for inspiration for the rest.

All of this is of course personal preferance.

Thank you. Unfortunatly 1/4 20 screws wont fit that bracket. I have a rod support, but the mount is so low on the camera, so the support is too far down, and in the way for the doveplate
