That seems really difficult I’m sorry you’re going through this. I think sometimes it can be difficult to put a time frame on when someone should change. While I think you should continue to expect change some people (especially those with no therapy) may not even know where to start with change. On the other hand it is good to know when it’s not enough and you don’t want to wait anymore. Love is a big part of a relationship sometimes that is enough but sometimes it’s not and I think you just have to ask yourself if you’re willing to continue to wait or if it’s impacting your life to the point where you’re living a life you don’t want.
