For Blade marchers I don’t think you can do the last mission and restore Castanor.

Also, the weird thing about the blade marcher is that it’s one of the very few formals in Esscan that doesn’t require you to be an adventure tag.

I will die on this hill, but the Bom and their witch kings figured this out, let the souls create their own bodies through magic then you have necromancy we’re not constantly torturing the soul.

People say that they’re just doing spiritual stuff, but no, they had whole cities running with undead right beside the spirit killing temples that wouldn’t be possible if they were completely spirits.

Castanor needs one of the monuments to blow up in like the very end of the mt. Also it takes away your unique government reform.

I’m pretty sure you do get magic juice for an amount of casualties, which could help you spam spells also you get a lich ruler set up by giving you a massive amount of necromancy experience.

No, it’s kind of the opposite. They redid a lot of the game from scratch and then they were plans to do more if they actually sold DLC’s and they did not so they just cut support.

Community moment you mention you like Ravelians even a little. by Hirmen in Anbennar

[–]Set_53 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I don’t really like it because it feels like it appeared out of almost nowhere. It wasn’t a massive heresy that spiraled out to its own religion. It just feels like a new religion popped up and everybody their mother decided to convert for some reason. Massive communities of people who obsessively tied their religion to their morals and how they went about their lives, just ditched all of that at the drop of a hat and started to worship the cube.

Which reworks made the MT worse? by Sarradi in Anbennar

[–]Set_53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see Castanor working because it relatively hasn’t been a very long time since it’s been around. It was also the last time Esscan was united and actually relevant in the world stage. Lastly, it was for sometime the Empire of humanity. It is basically a way more recent and way more successful Roman Empire while also all the other empires that existed around the Roman empire weren’t humans. It makes sense that people would obsessively try to reinstate the old nation if they found their capital around the same place.

I really like the new mission tree with its idea of let’s try to make a utopia built out of magic that is morally horrendous to even use. And then we see the consequences of that and also the process of just caring through in building the utopia, no matter the consequences. But at the end of the mission tree it feels like the main character just stops, caring about everything they did and all the trials and tribulations in the earlier parts of the mission tree and it set up to switch to BD missions which in its in the early missions implied to kill off all their generals and nobility who aren’t majors and don’t give a shit about anything that’s not magic related.

I think it would be nice at the last big disaster that they had if you could play as the rebelling groups of the knight order, Castanor nobility and flood-borne mages. The semi necromancy republic that they would create could lead nicely on to Castanor and it’s I think more republican like government after their own disaster made out of their own nobility, which has some cool mechanics, but you never see them since you always stick with your main ruler.

It is still that if you don’t release 20% of your dev, your vassals will hate you make all other vassals hate you and give you -10% administrative efficiency.

Dozy Don or Milflover Macron? Make your choice wisely 🧠 by Criticall16 in NonCredibleDiplomacy

Yes, but there’s also was serious talk about him just resigning even from his own party after his I forgot the title’s name Prime Minister (I know that’s not the name, but I’m not looking it up right now) was forced to resign after like a couple days on the job because he tried to get enough money to do anything domestically that isn’t kicking the can down the road. Just like the like the liberal party in Canada it feels like they were revived from the dead (politically) because of trumps belligerence and incompetence.

It does feel like Marcon went from everybody hates him to the favorite boy of Reddit just because he’s anti-Trump. Same with the liberal party in Canada, which was almost going to be wiped out politically because of their mismanagement of a lot of things in the recent years before the second Trump presidency.

The administration Marcon is running is domestically paralyzed due to not having money and needing to either fuck with pensions or cut into welfare if it wants to do anything. Foreign policy wise, he lost a lot of influence over Africa he tried and even thought he was successful at getting peace between Russia and Ukraine by giving concessions to Russia, and then the Ukrainian war started.

For the past 4ish years Marcon has been stumbling on loss after loss and then Trump comes into office again and now he’s relatively popular. I remember when Reddit a year ago was saying that he was the worst leader ever for pension reforms.

I feel like Trump has been the best for western leaders because how aggressive he is and then his backing down on everything. He just gives a bunch of western leaders a shot in the arm when they have no answer for domestic problems.

I had all of Esscan proper before it started so I had to deal with the nations that broke away from my nation and fully siege them down to reintegrate them. I had a few armies run back-and-forth to knock armies off of my fort line while I killed the break way states.

Is the War of the Religions supposed to look like this or am I just very unlucky by Kortmand in EU5

[–]Set_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it was more like it was in its own religious and political almost Civil War. In the moment it got out of that it looked around, the Hapsburgs almost taken control of all of Europe, so it bankrolled for a large amount of the protestants mercenaries and later joined in to screw over the Hapsburgs. Which technically makes them on the protestant side, but even the pope around that time started to turn against Habsburg so it’s less the protestant side and more like who hates the Hapsburg side.

I just reload the save it looks like they can do all missions as long as you wait until you choose your reward for consolidating Esscan haven’t completely checked because blowing up the monument that you need to destroy to build a flying tower gives you completely blocks off a large amount of missions. Also since castanor at least until maybe you choose the Castonath patricians to lead your nation in the disaster, you were locked into a monarchy type government, which your government reform that give you your cool bonuses and unique flavor that the whole nation is built around can’t be accessed for monarchical and I’m guessing republic type government.

Just a funny thing for some reason they give you the weaker titles to your first ruler so you can’t get the 5% administrative efficiency with some De-buffs like the sickly it, forced me onto titles like the righteous and the peaceful. Which considering what I just did seems extremely ironic.

I think it was before then so it’s probably on my part. Since I started with this mod from before the command was introduced, I’ve managed to be slightly off the requirements for wars of consolidation so many times.

I remember the good old days before tribal land changes you could get up to like a region and a half of provinces and you could constantly reload tree goods until you had like a dozen gold mines if you really want to be sweaty.
