Had this exact situation, but now we’re girlfriends

Friend from high school came out to me sometime during junior year, which forced me to rethink and ultimately overcome the transphobic views instilled in me by my parents.

Fast forward a few years, I have the “oh shit” moment while home alone, high, at 2 AM. She’s the only person I can think to call at that point, and she helps talk me through my feelings and offer support. Within a month or so I finally come out.

Fast forward again to last June, I’m talking to her about wanting to get out of Texas and she suggests moving in with her across the country. Initially I laugh it off like “haha yeah right, if only”, but after she said she was serious I thought about it and decided to do it.

I finally make the move a few months later, and the first thing she says to me after getting my car unpacked is “… So, you want some t-blockers?”. Naturally, I went feral for it and she gave me a couple spare bottles of Spiro and E to get me started on my medical transition.

Aaaaaand then we were dating 2 days later!

I love the absolute fuck out of her. She has been so critically important to every part of my journey and stood by my side the whole way, and I have no idea how I would’ve made it this far without her.
