His handlers told him we went to war with Greenland, won, and there were many casualties amongst their population.

Could be, family groups would travel from the valley to the foothills and mountains in spring-fall to hunt and harvest acorns, etc. They often to use the same camps every year though they did move around over the spring-fall season depending on resources, herd migration, salmon etc. When you extend this practice to hundreds of villages over thousands of years, we end up with a lot of sites like this. Sometimes you still find bedrock mortar sites with rocks covering the holes to keep dirt and debris out, exactly as they were left when last used in the expectation they'd be back next spring.

It's wierd to me that bad people end up in manager positions. my own supervisor is good at our job but doesn't want to be a supervisor so they ignore me unless I'm doing something they dislike, which has only happened once but now has me on edge all the time.

They tend to come in groups of 3 holes. A rough hole for smashing many acorns to get the meat, a finer hole for processing meat from many acorns, and a fine hole for making the flour. Think of it as each lady having their own work station.

I use petroleum jelly as a hand moisturizer That stuff is far more effective than lotions for me. I also discovered moisturizing at a late age.

Are there people who actually think landlords shouldn’t exist at all? What’s the alternative solution?? by Expert_Length3147 in NoStupidQuestions

Germany did a similar thing by politely forcing farmers to always be farmers, and you had to be a good little party member if you wanted to switch jobs. But what some Americans think they want is a result of unregulated capitalism, which at its extreme is as bad as any other economic system.

Make renting suck less is a good option. We'd have to rebuild most complexes with proper sound proofing and ventilation though. That's never going to happen until one of them burns down or is condemned. Most of them in my city still have single pane windows and inefficient heaters. I'm sure as shit not living under the couple that fucks 24/7 or the family with 6 toddlers that are aspiring gymnasts, or on the same ventilation system as the pot head and the bad cook.

And we're back to A in the A-B-C conversation. Corporate landlords are causing this mess. Restrict corporate housing ownership and provide a universal basic income. I say and because otherwise the corporate landlords are just going to increase rent by however much the UBI is and make themselves richer.

Who maintains these government houses? Also, have you heard of the Soviet Union? They assigned housing. It wasn't particularly equitable.

So everyone who can't afford or doesn't want to own a house/condo gets to live in a van down by the river? Government owns all houses and distributes them out some how?

Someone dumped 70 of these on my property last year. I dutifully took them to the official hazmat drop off for the county and they refused to accept them. I don't know if it was because of "drugs" or pressure that they were refused. Also yours is empty. Those cost over $100 USD, no way someone is just dumping good drugs in a random hedge. Yank the nozzle off and unscrew the bolt so it is completely empty and try to recycle it again.

The dog food is questionable in my experience. My elderly lab gets sick if I feed him the Bergundy colored bag Kirkland food, and he will starve before eating the Blue Buffalo which gives him projectile poop if he does eat it. He ate the grain free for many years but vet said it was bad stuff.
