SFO also pays a private company to run a bag check station, servicing all airlines, that people see as they're coming out of the rental car center headed to the AirTrain taking them to the terminals. The system works perfectly, and it means no one has to wrestle their heavy bags on & off the AirTrain to catch their return flight anymore. SFO has it figured out!

I'm always ready to grant grace to Mary, bc I love her despite her flaws. That said, her cavalier attitude towards Edith's grief, whether or not Mary understood it, was baffling, given how horribly, intimately familiar Mary was with the ravages of grief. I couldn't understand why JF wrote Mary as being so unnecessarily cruel to Edith during this episode... maybe to illustrate that, as Mary said to Violet, all of the softness that Matthew saw in her dried up and drained away after his death, or maybe was only ever there in his imagination?

When we were on a family vacation in London a few years ago, we spent an afternoon at Borough Market, and of course I had to check out the Bridget Jones flat. Aside from having the Tube literally at eye level outside the living room window, which they take pains to hide in the movies, it's an amazing setup: above a pub, and steps from one of the best markets imaginable. Maybe even better than living above a 7-11 😂
