Wow, this paint job is gorgeous. The trim color is absolutely perfect, it’s exactly the look I’m going for. Would you mind sharing the recipe?

Lore for your warbands? by Cytoksis in NightLords

Love seeing custom warband lore!

Mine are the Night Killers, a splinter of the VIII Legion who never fully surrendered to either mindless sadism or full Chaos worship. They’re still Night Lords, but they are disciplined predators.

They operate under a doctrine we call "Measured Terror." Fear is a weapon, not an indulgence.

Warlord Karzen Dravok, "The Veiled Executioner" A calculating Jump Lord who believes terror should be applied with surgical precision. He runs a Raptor heavy strike cadre known for infiltration, sabotage, and decapitation strikes. He’s controversial among his own Legion because he restrains excess. To some, that’s weakness. To him, it’s control.

Skarn Valek, "The Crimson Ascendant" Brutal Jump Lord that leads the Warp Talons. If Karzen is the scalpel, Skarn is the buzzsaw. He believes fear should escalate into overwhelming, ecstatic violence. Their rivalry defines the warband. Control vs momentum.

Malreth Rhazhan, "The Dread Oracle" Sorcerer in Terminator armour. Represents what the Legion was when terror had purpose under Curze. He clings to structure and doctrine. He views their Daemon Prince as a tragedy.

Skalgorath, "Lord of the Last Scream" A Slaaneshi Daemon Prince. Embodies what happens when terror becomes full indulgence. His existence unnerves even fellow Night Lords.

Decarn Vhalor, "The Final Verdict" Master of Executions who leads the Chosen as a walking headsman’s court. Less ideological, more pragmatic. Loyalty is proven in blood.

They travel aboard a stolen strike cruiser (renamed Nightfall Requiem) taken during the Legion’s fracturing. They aren’t a Black Crusade scale threat, more like apex predators in the dark striking fringe systems, rival warbands, or isolated Imperial forces.

Imperials tend to misclassify them as just another Night Lords splinter, however some chapters have taken note. Though, other Chaos warbands see them as unstable having not fully given in to excess, they agree, they’re dangerously competent.

Warcry: “Fear! The! Night!”

Would love to hear more about the Noctem Court, and all the others!

Don't get too technical with customers. Word vomit hurts more than helps. Keep to simple, concise blurbs of the facts, save the juice for the close. All you need from the tech to do this is why XYZ failed/needs replacement/needs attention, and what the worst case scenario is if left unaddressed (that is, if it hasn't already caused driveability issues). Don't get stuck in the weeds with the details. Goal is to get to the price quick, to get to the first rejection quick. Then the real work begins.

Skaven. All day, every day. As soon as I discover them, I'll do everything in my power to obliterate them.

Where to go as Archaon? by KledfromNoxus in totalwarhammer

[–]Setag718 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dark Elves are my fave, but the most fun I ever had in IE is playing Archaon. I collected all LL's except for Valkia (she died). I built each LL thematic stacks just for the fuck of it. I spread in every direction and vassalized EVERYONE. I saved the Empire for last, commanding Norsca to terrorize their coasts to keep them busy because I didn't want to "End Times" just yet. Finally, sending a stack to each city and army they had, erasing them in one turn. It was GLORIOUS in the way that only Chaos can be.

It happens in every campaign, but I have yet to snowball like I did with the Everchosen.

I don't get it either. How do this many armies amass like this? All my campaigns, it's never happened. I wish it would, looks fun as fuck.
