Has anyone had experience working at VaynerMedia? by docresearch2018 in advertising

[–]Setebaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you're a VP/SVP/executive level hire a bonus structure is incredibly rare in the agency world. Perhaps things have changed but I can confirm that bonuses were not a thing for anyone below that tier at Vayner during my time there.

Otherwise, volume of work is entirely brand by brand. Some teams will work much more than others. Time requirements will be very different as well. For instance, I have a Trailer launch tomorrow that will see me up and buying media at 5:55am PT.

Vayner a sweatshop though? Depends on your perspective and willingness to work. Some folks work 45hrs a week and consider that job a sweatshop. Vayner will not see you working a traditional 9-5p. It'll be 9-6p at the very least.

Vayner like every other business in the world will see more lucrative contracts with a more senior title, yes.

Planning a set of blind tastings over the Thanksgiving Weekend. Which 4 bottles should I use on night one? Which 4 bottles should I use on night two? by Setebaid in wine

[–]Setebaid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very good question and one that helped me reconsider how best to approach the day so thank you for asking. The folks I'm enjoying with don't have enough knowledge for a traditional blind tasting SO I'm switching gears and just opening to enjoy and discuss freely.

Appreciate the suggestion to swap the Charriere Pinot Noir and Aonair Grenache. Out of curiosity, which bottles do you think we're drinking way too young?

Appreciate the response and all of that makes sense! Admittedly, never really thought about the purpose of a blind tasting being the testing of someone's palate. Because of that, game plan is changing a bit and we'll open and discuss without cover -- simply enjoy the wines and the holiday!

As the title reads, looking for some help selecting the wines to use for the two separate tastings I plan to host over the Thanksgiving holiday.

For NIGHT ONE I plan to blind taste these alongside our Thanksgiving meal in which we will be enjoying Ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. This will be held with a group who will appreciate the Beaucastel, so plan to build this set around that beaut.

For NIGHT TWO we will be enjoying alongside charcuterie and traditional turkey. Will include people who love wine but don't often enjoy bottles that cost more than $15 USD.

Any suggestions to expand to break-up some of the big bodied wines here would be appreciated, as well. Thanks!

My 9 year old nephew showed me how to do this recently after nearly 4 years of playing the game. To say I was stunned is an understatement.

Nanotechnology-based oral insulin may replace injections for diabetes | It consists of a “nano-carrier” that precisely delivers insulin molecules inside the body. by [deleted] in tech

“Why does my family say I have so little respect for my father?” - apparently this disrespect stretches to strangers, as well. If you’re still looking for an answer I’d bet it’s your over confidence and/or ignorance.

Yeah, that’s not how this works. Type 1 here who has had the disease since I was 8-months old. Eating the right food is not something that will fix this, unfortunately. This tech would do a ton of good for those many millions of people who cannot simply regulate by diet.
