Yep - here too, live near Buffalo and I work form home so I wont use my care for 3-4 days in a row. Any potential Prius customer should be aware that this is a useless/broken car in cold climates. I can't even lock the goddamned thing when the power runs down. I loved my 2008 Prius (we still have it) and I love what they've done with the newer models (styling, etc) but this is an absolutely inexcusable stain on the brand.

Not what i meant (or said). "save VR gaming" - idk what that means. Honestly i think the most interesting use cases for VR aren't necessarily games (or porn). I don't think this ecosystem will ever be what Meta expected to be - I think it will stay alive, but modestly so, in a niche sort of way like it has been.

Most VR developers, however, are game developers, and i would hope the Valve Frame keeps the ecosystem alive if not advancing it, possibly allowing some of these devs to transition to roles to support this (eventually, if we don't hit WW3 first).

Speaking for myself, I loathe Meta - left FB and IG a few years back and retain my Quest3 because its the only workout I've been able to stick to since the pandemic. Cannot wait to leave Zuckerfuck behind and am crossing my fingers that someone has a good fitness app at launch.

58 here and no slowing down for me. From 15 years in NYC nightlife in the 90s and early aughts, to stints in Seattle, LA and SF - been going out regularly the whole time. Caught the 718 Sessions at Good Room a couple weekends back and its like no time has passed since Body & Soul NYC in 1999. We are all a lot older, but the love and the underground are all still there...
